Good hype trailer that does its job but doesn't really give us a ton of new info.

3 win in Trials is the Fusion this week. For the old farts like me that only get Trials gear via Bounties, it was a disappointment. Still waiting for Eye of Sol to make it back to 3 win, lol. Suros Regime Cat dropped for me during Trials however, so small victories.
I spent about 3 hours grinding out Catalysts while waiting for Reset. Took my Well of Radiance to the Castellum and finished Lord of Wolves, Crimson, Fighting Lion, Borealis & DARCI. I should have saved Fighting Lion until after DARCI & Borealis; those two were tedious, but FL was hilariously fun. Then I took Jade Rabbit into Control and averaged about 4 kills a round, lol. Suddenly DARCI was looking pretty good; that was painful. Momentum Control cannot come back fast enough. Ran into Trials right after reset and realized 3 games in that I had accidentally deconstructed my Solstice boots that needed the 7 Trials wins to complete.
Had to pop a bunch of crates to get another one since you cannot pull them from Collections. Only got credit for one win, so I'll be back at it tomorrow. Still need Pit of Heresey & 100k Nightfall. Tons of over-time this week, so who knows if that's going to happen.

Congrats on Lunas Howl, that is one I will probably never get. I am so terrible with HC's, it is embarrassing. If I have to get Crucible kills with one, than Thorn is my goto. I should try Sunshot, it looks like it would be fun. Xur has one this week, and its cheaper to buy from him than upgrade, at least for me. I am always broke of upgrade materials since I don't have a group to run Nightfalls with (my schedule is the problem, not finding a group).

I don't know what to do. I logged into Steam and it says I've been permabanned from Destiny 2 by Bungie.
I have never cheated or done anything wrong whatsoever. What do I do? I'm appealing... I'm absolutely shocked. Speechless.

Definitely go after the appeal. They are getting a lot of flack over Cheaters of late and possibly tried something new that didn't work as intended. Even if someone reported you by mistake, they would need to validate the claim.
I did and I was very nice about it and I'm also writing a nice post on Bungie Help forums in the appropriate area.

I'm basically setting my mindset up for "life after Destiny" because I feel like I've been robbed and cheated in a way. I'll miss it. It's been one of my consistent and favorite go-tos.
I know what the EULA says and all that but damn... instant death on a six year old account that's been pristine and quite frankly spent a decent amount of money to boot?
I'm glad they can afford to lose that kind of business and have yet another person go to ill will. That's what will happen. This just isn't the way to do business. It's just not right.
There is no way they will ever see another cent from me if this holds. Unfortunately from what everyone has said it's pretty high odds that it will.
I think it's pretty laughable when we all know what we see in PVP especially in terms of cheaters. I can sympathize with their side of it but how about a shred of nuance?
I'll give it the business week. Everyone says that if I don't see or hear anything by the end of next week I never will.
I have no idea how worthwhile services like Unbanster and Unbanservice are. Hand to God I don't cheat, no tricks, no nuthin'. I'm not interested in having hackware and BS on my machine and this is exactly the kind of situation I never wanted to have happen. It isn't worth it.
Anyone can take 30 seconds and look at my character, profile, and triumphs and come to one of two conclusions:
1.) I am one of the lamest cheaters of all time
or
2.) I don't cheat.
Heck, I'd take a lie detector test if I had to.

Took a small 2 week break from Destiny 2, fired up last night and had multiple awesome games in crucible last night lol. Also reached rank 90 for the season so now I have a new goal, will be the first season I have managed to hit rank 100

Dude, did the ban get lifted!?! I'm fairly excited if so.
Spent most the weekend grinding out Solstice & Trials on my alts. Warlock main normally, so playing the others for short periods like this throws me off, lol. Kept trying to Icarus dash with my Hunter, throw a Rift down as Titan. My LFG Trials groups had to be either swearing or laughing.
No, I went and fired up a new account.
Long/short: My sister is interested in playing. So she and I got together and I had some left over Amazon and Steam credit and she came in, too.
The only reason I did this with a decent attitude is that I know there was some degree or another of carelessness on my part and I can see Bungie's side off it even if I think this is insanely harsh and you all have seen the rest of my thoughts on this.
So I have a new Bungie account and I had to make a new Steam account just for that. I still have my main Steam account for everything else. If some fluke of the universe happens and Bungie gets back to me this week (unlikely) then I'll simply have a backup and my sister can enjoy it. I will probably fire off one more brief appeal follow up today or tomorrow on the still open support ticket and that's going to be it.
What this also means is: Sudden death. If "anything" goes wrong ever again I'm gone and done with Bungie for good no matter what because I know for sure any margin of error is eliminated on my side now. No questions asked. No fussing. No appeals. No nothing. I walk.

managed to hit rank 100, until new content comes out I dont see much need to keep chasing the game for now lol. Ill probably log in once a week to do the weekly pvp bounties but beyond that im so done with bounties after this rank 100 chase
I wish I felt that way. Triumph hunters going to hunt so I always need the "Reach +20 on the artifact" triumph which is around season pass 200.
In other news, since I raid with a group on day 1, I did what Bungie should NOT allow you to do and got my bounty prep done. I hate that this is a thing but if others competing on day 1 are going to do it, i might as well.
If you're interested in what site I used for this, there are two. I like the first one for seeing what bounties are avaialble but the second one is prettier (got the above picture there). It gives you plenty of other info too like your status on materials and glimmer.

Yeah, i'm season pass rank 270ish now and nothing else to really do between now and then so I got my bounty prep out of the way. Its a common practice for people who raid on day 1 to get as much artifact power as possible as quickly as possible. (not to mention the powerfuls from gambit/crucible/vanguard bounties. Judging by what the site is telling me, I have enough bounties to hit level 22ish on day 1 of new light standing in the tower turning in bounties. The problem is, Bungie should not allow you to do this as it makes it unfair to those who don't have the time or want to make the time to mindlessly grind bounties.
I'm going even further with it too. Daily Bounties are worth 6000XP and Weeklys are 12000XP. I can't carry any more bounties but lots of those are 6000XP dailys. When IB comes around, i'm going to do all those which are 15000XP. I'll have to lose 4 6000XP dailys but i'll replace them with 4 15000XP IB bounties. Those also reward Pinnacle gear and I can't remember if they still will once the new season hits but the XP alone will be worth it.

Didn't they say they were going to change things so we couldn't do this? Thought it was when they first announced the delay, but could be mistaken. I'll try to look it up.
EDIT: Could only find where they are reworking them for Beyond Light, nothing about preventing Bounty Saving. Not confirmation, but I may have been reading older news.

Yeah, as far as I and anyone else knows, they've said nothing specific about stopping you from holding completed bounties. They should, really, but haven't yet.
Bit of a slog of old content, if i'm honest. Bungie... sigh.
Gun is real, real good though. I'm thinking my "pve sweat" loadout next season will be that, my auto-loading/vorpal First In, Last Out and of course my trusty Falling Guillotine.
This quest is seriously overstaying its welcome. I'm on the Mars phase and just finished the Escalation Protocol part.

I'm ignoring it until I get my Iron Banner Pinnacles. Only going to get a couple mornings to play this week and I'm super close to 1060. Will probably hammer it out this weekend though, looks interesting.
It's a nice sidearm and I agree that it's going to be real fun for PVE. PVP? Hmmm.... I wasn't doing that great with it.

I know I've said it before but man arbalest is such a disgusting God tier weapon if you can land Crits. Did 4 rounds in iron banner and shut down about 15 supers with it lol, I've never been t-bagged by angry people so much in my destiny 2 life before tonight
