Seems like a good deal. Been wanting a 32 inch 1440p monitor for a while. I was thinking this kind of monitor or a BFG tv. But it’s so hard to find one. What you guys think?

I don't think TVs have higher refresh rates. Someone corrects me if I'm wrong.

I've had an Acer Predator 32 1440p 165 for 2 years now and it's been nice. It's one of those things that you kinda get used to, but if you are lacking that 120+ refresh you begin to notice it a lot in fast pace games. I think the cost of entry at $389 is very reasonable.

I have had this monitor for about 6 months and it's been amazing.

If you have an nvidia GPU, expect some slight issues initially.

However, after doing a maybe 2 minute google search and tweaking the freesync active Hertz zone, you'll be fine.

Any hdr options yet in this size? I know it’s not a big deal for gaming yet but I am starting to feel limited for photo and video editing.

The everyday price is $399 on dell so 5% off. Additional specs: VA panel, HDR 400 and Freesync 2.
Since it’s VA it’s not going to be quite the same color, response and blur-wise as an equally specced IPS panel but does have superior contrast.

If you want to display HDR the way it was meant to be displayed especially if you are video editing in HDR: https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/ProArt-PA32UCX/

But prepare to fork over $4k for it. Its not displaying true HDR if the screen can't achieve at least 1000 nits of brightness. 400 nits is SDR level and unfortunately is where a lot of entry level HDR screens start at.

1600 nits and 120 hz, probably at a price only the pros could afford.

I got a BFG TV in the form of my LG B9 OLED. Though not officially a "BFG", it supports up to 4k/120Hz with VRR/G-Sync and it's an OLED so it's hard to beat otherwise. The only thing it's missing is displayport, so you're bottlenecked by HDMI 2.0 on it for now at 4k/60 or 1440p/120, which is really all a 2080 ti is good for anyways until next gen when cards that will come with HDMI 2.1 which this TV is also one of the few to have that as well and that will unlock 4k/120 Hz performance.

This monitor seems like a pretty good deal though; I paid over twice as much for my 34" 120 Hz ultrawide 3440x1440 G-Sync monitor and this doesn't seem like half the monitor at all. I'd be jumping on it as a second monitor if I had room for it.

Sounds like the Dell's cousin with "official" G-Sync -Support
GIGABYTE G32QC 32" 165Hz 1440P Curved Gaming Monitor, 2560 x 1440 VA 1500R Display, 1ms (MPRT) Response Time, 94% DCI-P3, VESA Display HDR400, FreeSync Premium Pro, G-Sync Compatible Ready, 1x Display Port 1.2, 2x HDMI 2.0, 2x USB 3.0

Just picked one of these up... thanks! I saw it was initally out of stock at Best Buy and then noticed a little while later it was showing In Stock and had it in my cart... but something made me go to Dells site and was talking with one of the Customer Service people about some confusion on their warranty. Because it mentioned a 1 yr advanced replacement warranty and then mentioned a 3 yr hardware warranty. They said they have an ongoing promotion that you see when the product is added to Cart... you get a 3 yr advanced replacement warranty. So that plus they said they would price match Best Buy... was a no brainer for me! My monitor should be here by the middle of next month! WOOT!
I went the same route. Thx for the tip. No brainer for sure!

This has been as low as $349 a few months ago. I tried one but I had issues with brightness levels flashing and such, and the colors weren't as nice as the 27" IPS it would have replaced. I ended up returning it.

Damn those are sick... how many years until HDR 1000 is a ordinary consumer product? I'm thinking like 5.

just got the monitor finally. 1 dead pixel. Is that grounds for cross ship with dell?

Man trying to get gsync to work on this monitor is no joke. anyone running this with nvidia card with gsync enabled?

Thats a shame. I'm planning on getting big navi anyway. So I'll get to turn it back on then.
Yeah it is. Good size, decent picture at a good price. Reason I got it.

I haven't had any issues with screen tearing once I'm at like 100+ frames.
