I found about this TV a few days ago. They have a 49" version which could be used as a monitor. I know the new lg 49" CX will blow out this TV. But, what I found impressive is the panel coating seems to be glossy! This would be the first flagship monitor with glossy coating below the 55" size. I think this TV would be good as a computer monitor. If anyone came have this TV share your opinion!

Alfredo3001 Not an owner (just been reading up on TVs myself tonight) you may want to consider the X900H model as well. Unfortunately the size only goes down to 55” so that may be a dealbreaker.

The only reason I say you may want to consider it is that at some point the X900H (but not the X950) is supposed to receive VRR support via update.

But I’m not really seeing this info reported anywhere else. Just something to keep in mind.

I have been eyeballing the LG 49NANO85UNA. It is like the 48 inch CX OLED on a budget at around $680. Has the same video processor in it as the higher Nano 9 series LG, 120 Hz 4k with VRR, local dimming (unfortunately edge lit not full array), HDR, and HDMI 2.1. Seems like a winner and could hold me over until the OLED hits black Friday or 2021 new model release sale prices.

I had the Samsung 55q6fn. It was to big. I want a 40-50" inch tv or monitor with glossy coating. I was interested in this model because it seems to have a glossy coating.

Hi! I bought the 49nano85.
There is something weird with this panel. It is supposed to be an IPS. I understand the IPS glow, but there seem to be a gamma shift in the corners (like VA panel)
