Hey guys I would just like opinions on whether or not I should buy this PC for 750$. Its already built.

ryzen 5 1600af cpu
evga 1660 super
gigabyte aorus b450 m
16gb 3000mhz corsair ram
cooler master hyper 212 black
256gb torosus ssd
1tb western digital blue hdd
corsair 450w psu
4 thermaltake led fans (red)
thermaltake h17 versa
sleeved black cables
windows 10 pro

I think 5500 XT / 5600 XT would've been a slightly better value over the 1660 Super. But overall I think you put together a good build for the money.

In what way? 5600xt is more expensive, 5500xt is slower.

@op it's pretty solid deal wise.

When I said better value, I'm meaning price/performance. You spend less, you get more FPS/$ or you spend more and get more FPS/$

I don't know what OP paid, but that's what's currently available on Newegg. Just my opinion on currently available cards and pricing.

Imo, 4GB is a touch low in terms of ram buffer for today's games at a $750 budget. Looking at 8GB 5500xt's the average price seems to be in the low $200s and there are 1660 supers available at ~$230. The 5600xt imo isn't the best value proposition as it is often sold at the $290 range and that is 5700 non xt pricing, if you can get it on sale and priced closer to the 1660 super then it's a solid way to go.

You are free to your opinion, but honestly most test show there isn't much difference between the 4GB and 8GB model. And where there are differences, it's not playable anyways so the point is moot. I'm not saying in all cases, but the majority.

That said, the price seems reasonable for the build, and you'll save time and effort if it's already built.

ryzen 5 1600af cpu - Was going for $85 on amazon for a while, but prices have gone up to the point it's not even worth buying this model right now. But assume they spent ~$100.
evga 1660 super - Around $230 shipped from places.
gigabyte aorus b450 m - $85 from the Egg, although currently sold out, that's about the going price
16gb 3000mhz corsair ram - Around $75 @ best buy or amazon, or pick your favorite store here.
cooler master hyper 212 black - $40-$45 depending
256gb torosus ssd - $33 shipped on amazon
1tb western digital blue hdd - 1TB spinner? Not even sure why at this point, the 2TB and > are much better prices, but this is $47 shipped
corsair 450w psu - (not sure which one, mid range CX450 is $58)
4 thermaltake led fans (red) - ?? I wouldn't pay extra for these personally, but lets just say 4 fans = $50.
thermaltake h17 versa - $50 case
sleeved black cables - ?? Did he sleeve them or buy sleeves, or was the PSU already sleeved?
windows 10 pro - $15 here on the [H] forums.

So, total paid was probably around: $788
So, yes it's worth $750 depending on if you prefer to have use all of these parts or if you wanted to pick/choose anything differently. The time and effort to get them all and wait on shipping and install and deal with any issues may be worth something as well. This and the 1600AF right now costs as much as a 3600 (3600 is much faster, so no idea why anyone would pay that much fort he 1600AF, at $85 it's a great deal.. at $150, it's nonsense). The asking price is probably right around what they have into it (give or take as prices fluctuate). Well, worth it is up to you though!! Not sure if it matters, but that MB doesn't appear (not positive but a quick glance on gigabyte site I didn't see it) to have WiFi built in either, so if you need it, that's another cost and also figuring out where to install it. I have an asrock b450 fatal1ty mini itx with wifi for this reason (it's not the only model that includes wifi, there are other brands and models).
