This case was getting scrapped so I grabbed it for a possible home server build. The logo on the front is for a server company that has gone out of business Verari. All aluminum

Yeah that is a Lian-Li case, all their cases with 5.25 bays have those 2 holes for the bumps on the bay covers to snap into. Plus they used that mid support bar on many of their big cases, mine has that exact same one.

TYTY, needed to know what it was so I could track down the screws to mount drives. It only had one drive in it when I saved it so only 1 set of screws.

AFAIK, it should just take normal computer case screws. At least all my old Lian Li cases just took normal screws. That's a great find for someone tossing it though. I'd love to have one of those.

No. it uses special screws for the dive mounts. They screw into the normal mount holes but they stick out and slide into the slots in the drive caddy.

I was thinking the 5.25" as in they don't have drive rails or anything...my bad.

I would check on Lian-Li's website, sure you can buy a set of them. There is also a rubber guide that goes on the smooth part under the head, and cushions the drive in the hard drive slot.

I had to buy those for a Lian Li case I picked up off of ebay 2 years ago. At the time I was able to find them on Amazon. I remember it wasn't an easy find.

After all these years its still a pretty good looking case. I'd love to see an updated version of that from Lian-Li. Cases like the PC-011 Dynamic / Dynamic XL are great and all, but they lack the aesthetics of those older Lian-Li's from that era.

Yeah I just wish they would redo some of their older style cases like the PC-60 and PC-70 with modern features.

I agree. I remember back before Cooler Master went totally insane and also produced nice cases. I hear their guy went to Silverstone and some 8 year old replaced him.

I know it is an old thread but you can buy screws and parts from Frozen CPU.
