Cooler Master MM711 mouse for $25 at Walmart

bought one for $45.00 on amazon In January . when I seen this on sale at Walmart for $25.00 I had to grab another

$25 is a crazy good price for this mouse...it's one of the newest on the market and some people prefer it to the $50 Model O-.

Edit: showing 6+ in stock at the second closest Walmart to me. VERY tempting to get one of these as a spare mouse.

None of the stores near me had them in stock, but today I was on the other side of town and stopped into a store that showed 6 available so I grabbed one. Thanks for the heads up, OP.
<edit> build quality is not consistent and you may get units that actuate the side buttons if you press on side wall of mouse

I must have gotten one of those questionable ones because if I squeeze the side it will indeed click one of the side buttons.
To be fair I have to squeeze the side pretty firmly to make it happen, but it will do it. I'm not going to worry about it unless it becomes a problem during normal use, which I don't see happening but is yet to be determined.
Not sure I'll return it yet, maybe if it becomes an issue - there are 5 more over there after all.

Has not been plugged in and used yet but seems nice so far, and as intended it is feather-light!

Heads up to any of you that have this and maybe didn't notice - CM includes a spare set of PTFE feet in the box. I did not see mine until I pulled the cardboard insert out. I probably would have tossed them if I had not heard they're included and remembered to look.

Fairly certain I tossed those...

Put me on the list of those that don't. Not that the M710/M711 are bad mice, and I do like the size, but I prefer the shape of the O-. I'd probably prefer an O--, if such a thing were to exist. Glorious got that one quite right.

15 minutes later update: Side button can be actuated by my left thumb. A little easier than I thought. I can back button without actually moving for the back button. I kinda like it though, but clearly it has some issues.
Also the RGB is a little more annoying than I thought, and I'm assuming I will need to install their software to change or disable it. But I knew that going in, so I will not bitch about a RGB mouse having RGB even though I just did.
The size is a little surprising. It is pretty much the same size as my G Pro, maybe a little taller and feels very comfortable. For some reason I was expecting it to be a little bigger. So far I like it and the pale purple glow has not burned my eyes out yet

*5 minutes after 15 minute update*
LED can be adjusted with combo of mouse buttons. No software needed :D

That I did not know

I have two MM710 and two MM711. They are great. The shape is perfect for me. I've used Finalmouse Ultralight 2, Glorious O-, Xtrfy M4, Viper Ultimate wireless. I have to say this shape is perfect for me. And that's the thing with shapes, it depends on the person and grip style.

You know, comparing my O- and MM710 side by side just now, I would have to agree with this. I think that my hand does prefer the shape of the O- (which is funny, because for a time there I was thinking that the hump was too low but after feeling it directly beside the MM710's higher/more pronounced hump, the O- is like a warm hug). :) I also prefer the feel of the side buttons on the O-. The scroll wheels on both mice are perfectly serviceable with minor differences and, at least for me right now, the O- glides much more smoothly with less resistance. That might be because I've been using it far longer and the pads are worn smooth and slick...not sure. Both of my samples have nice crisp clicks (with the MM710's Omron switches being higher pitched and requiring seemingly less travel to actuate) and both have good build quality with no weird issues or noticeable flex under normal use.

Still, I'm about to head out and most likely grab a MM711 if I can find any at that WM. I just can't not get one for $25. Can always pass it along to my son or a friend if I don't end up using it.

For those of you who aren't showing any stock at your local Walmart using the link above, Amazon currently has them for $37.65. That's still a great price for one of the lightest mice on the market with RGB and a PixArt PMW3389 sensor.
