The way it's meant to be played is completely dependent on what gives me the best experience for my dollar. I hold zero allegiance to any brand.

Its certainly also possible that QA was paid to do their job, but didn't cause they're lazy and incompetent. Faked the paperwork, never did the tests (or couldn't figure out how to do them, so dint do it). And now that SHTF, do what got them the position in the first place, find someone else to blame.
Its bad form to blame someone else inside your organisation if its at all possible to blame someone on the outside.

Yes that happens but really this is EVGA bitching because there was an updated bios that boosted performance and they did their QA work on the old one and didn't count on the boost figuring 'overclocking pain' or someone else would 'figure it out'.

My Strix 580's all have a 3/16 of thermal padding on their VRMs. What is the point of the 3 fan big ass heatsink if you cover the hot parts with such a thick thermal pad.
Nice try ASUS

Because marketing wank for average consumers is 3 fans are more than 2 and therefor superior. It is one reason I refuse to use AIB’s and will only use OEM with a waterblock. Many are still using shitty yumcha sleeve bearing fans.

Oh but wow they are hot swappable fans with a slot connector. How about you stop using cheap shit then the fans will never fail in the first place, they would rather spend that money on a fancy paint job and RGB wank.

But hey who doesn’t want an 8 fan, 2000 heatpipe cooler with super silent stealth ninja fan control, rainbow unicorn lighting and gaming extreme ln2 haxor cooling.

Right you are. Im not a fan of any RGB. It looks cheap and I guess during Christmas it would be ok. :D
