FBI probes use of Israeli firm's spyware

Years ago I read about how Intel decided to move some of their fabs to Israel and that they were creating backdoors in their processors. Israel have a long history of not acting like an ally to the United States which is troubling as the business posing as the government of the United Sates (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, a business, not a government) really likes Israel. I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that literally most of the politicans of a particular political group hold dual-citizenship with Israel. You can tell who is legitimate and who isn't based on their response. If the response is, "That isn't ethical and no one in any position should be doing that!" then that person might be legitimate. If the response is, "That's anti-semitic!" then you know you're dealing with corruption in this context. It would be nice if they did not rival China in their poor relations with the United States.
 
First , fabs only produce the silicon , they dont add anything to it
second , Intel development center in Israel were pivotal for most innovations Intel had for the last 2 decades , so some respect for the teams there
third , to even imagine such a conspiracy there to put backdoors is ridiculous , at most maybe ex-employees will join government or private companies and use their knowledge of the desgin

Sometimes people laugh at me but, from the outside, it sure looks like the US is ruled by the Israelis. Not to mention the endless Hollywood propaganda

A lot of companies put backdoors into products, most firewall vendors have been dinged for it in the past like checkpoint and fortinet as examples, no reason to not expect that other vendors do this as well. This has nothing to do with Israel though lol. Israel is just like any other country that does things for their own benefit. I'm sure they loved it here in the US when Israel sold fighter jet avionics to China to use lol.

"from the outside " ... you have your answer right there. Does it look like the USA is ruled by the Israelis or should we say Saudi Arabia ... I might be confused but then again; maybe not :barefoot:

OMG ... hundreds of people there ... that means it must be true. My dog is with me on the couch and he's chewing a rawhide stick and when I said "Israel conspiracy theory" out loud he stopped chewing his rawhide stick so I guess we can now conspire that there must be an Israeli conspiracy because even my dog seems to know about it :eek:

You sound pretty butthurt my dude. Does people looking into this threaten some kind of emotional, political, or financial investment you have in this?

it's quite clear you really like the word "butthurt" but why would anyone who at all values their time research this by reading websites online as though it will give them the "inside scoop"?

Form ignorant opinions without looking into them all you want. I won't be as mad about it as you are about the people who are curious enough to do some research
 
The only way to fix a dishonest world is to educate people to be honest - and to disallow anyone from punishing those who are brave enough to be honest. I'm more than willing to call out any one on anything that is not ethical including any of my closest friends. It's important to note that while it was used as a dishonorable tactic that the actions of one subsection of people does not reflect upon the whole group. That being said if one is not able to derive who is trustworthy and who is not in regards to a group (organization, country, religion, race, etc) then one can not be blamed or accused of wrong-doing. When it comes down to each person's life the best thing to do is to associate with those who are honest in their dealings.
