Im currently rocking asus z390 prime a with 9900ks 5.1ghz stable. Is there any benefit if I upgrade to gigabyte aorus master?

does it have features you want but currently dont have? then maybe.

This. I switched from one b450 board to another because I have a weirdo use case that requires an onboard audio solution that allows you to divide the front and rear inputs as separate devices.

That reminds me I need to sell that motherboard...

I can game and daily usage with 5.2ghz but it fails when I stress test, so I dont know the gigabyte will help stablize at 5.2ghz or not.

doubt it. and unless youre measuring epeen, 100mhz isnt going to be noticable.

Got me a apex and able to do 5.2ghz stable. The difference is the apex needs less vcore to get to 5.2ghz. On my prime A board, it needs 1.36v in bios llc6 to stable in realbench. At load, it hit 1.376v. With the Apex, it needs 1.29v in bios llc7, vcore at load is only 1.252v. Vrm on prime A hit 90c during first 5 minutes of stress test. The apex vrm never excess 50c.

So...$300 extra for 100 Mhz...

Seems like a poor investment to me. Better off putting a $20 fan blowing on your VRMs of your old board.
