I'm looking for motherboards for the Ryzen 3600 $100 or less, and there doesn't seem to be too many mATX boards available that look great. The best one I've seen so far seems to be the ASRock B450M Pro4 AM4 mATX. Is that any good in terms of the VRMs and such? I'm not too entirely sure what to look for now. The last computer I built was the one in my signature.

I have a Gigabyte Aorus B450M in my 3600 box and its perfect. Vrms are good but there not critical on a 3600 anyway

I have the ASRock B450M Steel Legend running with a 3600 and it works great. I wouldn't hesitate recommending that one also.

I have a ROG Strix B350-I as i didn't need the Gen4 PCI express yet so save some cash. It has been a great mother board and I utilize a 3600. However, the graphics card I have is a MSI 580 and Warcraft and CoD Modern Warfare does freeze upon start up for 5 seconds.
I need to try a Nvidia card to see if it's the video card, but otherwise it's been rock solid.

You're going to have a hell of time beating this board for the money. I love mATX. I'm so glad this thread came up.

looks like a nice board. i was thinking about grabbing it but it lacked a spdif header i wanted.

op, ive been really happy with my asus b450m+. it even took my 3400 ram without a prob, it says 3200 is max.

Seconded here. Built at least a half dozen systems with this board. Has everything most people need, no extra frills at a great value.
Nice, that's the one I was originally looking at. Good to know it's well liked. Thanks

I still use generation 1 boards with the 3600 and I have spent some time on a MSI B350M Gaming Pro and it's flashed to current AGESA 1004 bios .. I still have a B350 MSI Bazooka board I picked up refurbished for $41 on Newegg I have yet to touch so pretty much any AM4 mATX board should work after some bios work .
