was wondering if it's worth it to try Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Thermal Grease Paste

currently using Arctic MX-4 on CPU and GPU

anyone have some experience with this paste?

Its a couple degrees better than mx4. I use it on my personal rigs but use mx4 on everyone elses. Its among the best tims youll find. A little expensive for the quantity you get but worth it if your trying to squeeze that last bit out of your gear.
Altho i switched over to promilatech pk1 last time i needed tim and honestly cant see a difference other than ease of application being somewhat easier with the pk1.
Grab some. Otherwise that little pc junky voice in the back of your head will never stop wondering...what if? Hehe

Prolimatech PK2 has been my go-to for a good while. Great TIM, great price per volume.

read up on it last night ... said to be easier to spread than Grizzly. Just ordered 5 grams ...

It is tough on big CPU like TR. I would dot my TIM on then run the CPU to heat it up, then spread with a spatula. Smaller CPU is of course easier, but heat might make it a lot easier.

Finger cots make it a breeze with heat.

thanks, will give that a try. I have some disposable latex gloves ... that should work ok.

Starts at the mark where TIM install starts. I found this to be best way for TR, and would surely work for any CPU. And I misspoke/typed previously. PK1 is what I have been using for a good while.

Not sure how it compares to other products but the delid plus grizzly lowered my 7700k temps by 20C+

First post in a while ...

I used Conductonaut on my wife's PC and my rig (before I swapped the mobo out for a B450 board), and it was quite good. However, I'm only able to buy it maybe once a year because of the cost of a small tube of it (which is good for about 3 repastes). I may look at that Prolimatech PK1 stuff as an alternative as well.

I just used Thermal Grizzly on my build and it was a PITA to spread properly...will not use again.
