Amazon has had it at that price for the past week or so, was considering getting another as a spare since I really like this mouse, have 4 right now.

Using a 602 right now...very nice, would rather have a newer-model G700/700s, but this is a decent replacement.

G604 looks slick, but it's nearly $100.
I have some G700's here too but I prefer the G602 now, especially the battery life, I'd get a day maybe 1.5 days with the G700 on the battery.

True, the G700 sucks for battery life. I feel like they could remake it with way better battery life these days, though. I loved the button layout / hand feel on it, and the ability to plug it in if needed.

Thanks for the heads-up about the 604, that does look pretty nice. Maybe I'd pick one up on a sale to try.
 
That's a great price on the 602, they must be clearing these out because I've seen them around this price several times recently.

I've been using a 602 the last few years and then picked up a 604 recently, the 602 has held up better than the G700 and about as well as the G700s but after a few years the middle click is wearing out and the rubber section is showing a lot of wear. Neither are as comfortable for me as the G700(s) but they're the best fit I've found currently, the 604 feels just a tiny bit smaller than the 602(mainly due to the shape of the right side) but I find it more comfortable so far even though I'd prefer something bigger in general. Each time I've switched the sensors have improved, the 602 switched to an optical sensor that got rid of the acceleration the 700(s) had, and the 604 bumps the dpi and polling rate back up again but even more importantly feels noticeably crisper and accurate than the 602. The 604 has clickier main buttons and more comfortable side buttons but I prefer the wheel on the 602.

I like the new G-Hub software but it looks like it works with the 602 as well. It's a little clunky to use but it offers more configuration options and the automatic profile switching seems to be more reliable.
 
I wish Logitech would make a true successor to the G700/G700s. The G703 is missing too many buttons and the infinity scroll and I don't like the shape of the G604. It's too narrow in the back and doesn't feel good in my hand. I hope my G700s lasts another few years.
 
Good mouse, I'm on my second. The only problem is that the switches bend real easy for some reason - or at least they used to. Been a huge complaint and source of RMAs on the G602 as the switches seem to die within the first couple years quite often. Still though, I love the design so I'm going to keep using it.

All of those macro buttons seem overkill / might get in the way but my brain is old / primitive.

Might consider tho based on your recommendation as I have considered the M510 as the cornerstone of wireless mice for about a decade now.

I have a G602 as my laptop mouse. It's decent, the side buttons aren't my preferred setup but the mouse itself is comfortable and the wireless works excellent. I've used this things for quite a long time without ever replacing the battery.

I agree about the 6 side buttons ... would prefer a G602 without them. I have a wide thumb, presses the buttons when I grip the mouse hard during the throes of battle :cautious:

same here, I just don't like the feel of the buttons clicking when I squeeze hard on the mouse - not a deal-breaker though. Best mouse I ever used ...
 
I think I jinxed myself with the earlier post, shortly after that and only a week after getting it the G604 developed a double click on the left button. After looking around it seems to be common complaint with this mouse even when new so I guess the stiffer buttons on them are actually junk.

It's going back and I just ordered two of the G602s since they're EOL. It's a shame because I really did like the feel of the sensor in the G604.
 
Good deal. Picked up two of these, one for work and one for home. The mouse felt a bit heavy with the two batteries so I'm just running them with one. Love 'em so far.
