I’m just not seeing a reason to go higher then this board at $299? Unless you prefer other bios... RGB or brand loyal.

Solid board.Easy to navigate bios.Memory OC like a beast. No voltage read ports via multi meter.Memory slots not reinforced.

Prefer it over assus crosshair/extreme.All solid boards.

Hi,does anyone know how good The Unify is with memory compatiblity? ?

I have a R5 3600X and a set of Corsair RGB
32GB Pro 3200 CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 2x16Gb kit. Thanks for any help.

I plugged in my RAM and it worked instantly. I don’t have Corsair so I don’t know.

Was your ram on the QVL list for the motherboard?

I don't think it was on MSI's QVL but GSkill has their own QVL and it listed the Unify, ACE, etc

For what it's worth, it's a fantastic motherboard. Check out reviews on Newegg of boards and you'll see over and over that the high end MSI boards are great and a lot of other boards have problems. I'd chance it if I were you.

My Corsair vengeance rgb pro 3200mhz cas 14 Samsung b die isn’t on the list works fine,
QVL is just what they tested. Just about any ddr4 should work

The Unify has excellent vrm support and temps but has one big time issue. The memory tabs are plastic , instead of steel reinforced like on the Ace and most $300 motherboards. The memory tab broke on my Unify a couple of weeks back and I had to pay for repair/replacement. MSI went cheap on this, it should never have been an issue. Get the ACE for $339 from Newgg or Amazon. It is completely steel reinforced memory tabs and slots . Doesn't pay to get motherboard with inferior construction. I made the assumption the tabs were metal and I paid for an incorrect assumption.

Donno, I’m kinda old although having metal memory tabs is a plus, I’ve used dozens of MB’s that were not and never broke them, but there is always someone who’s gonna have some bad luck, sure there’s examples of people who have broken the metal tab ones to.

Hi, this message has nothing to do with the topic at hand but I am unable to send you a message for some reason. (Perhaps this has something to do with how fresh my account is.)

I am wondering if you still have the RAM for sale, actually. Could you please DM me? Hopefully I'll be able to reply, at least...

Thanks, have a great new year.

That is long gone.

I have Corsair Vengence RGB Pro 3600 running at 3800 with the infinity fabric at 1900Mhz on an MSI X570 Gamin Plus so I would assume the Unify would run Corsair RAM just fine as well.
