Most aesthetically appealing Video Cards of All Time?

I really dig nvidia's higher end reference designs the last couple generations, like the 10 series founder's edition and the Titan V.

I'm also a sucker for dual GPU cards, like this 295x2...

Or this GTX 690. I'd love to have a Titan Z in my collection, but I can't really justify spending $800 on one just to look at it.

NVIDIA really did hit a homerun with the so-called "Titan" cooler when Kepler 2.0 was launched. Turing is clean, simple, and functional, but I can't say it's as "aesthetically pleasing" as the prior iterations of that cooler.

prices are a little high for me to consider, plus they only seem to want to trade... the one card i couldn't bare to part with, the Voodoo5 6000
 
The Genesis of my PC gaming life started with this card, when I won one by playing CS:S on their hosted servers. I had to build an entire new computer as the Dell my dad had still only had AGP. RIP BFG, and the 7800GTX is the GOAT in my book.

Ahhh CS:S... simpler times.. better times..

Not far from from ThatsAgood.. my favorite is the XFX 7950GT Passive... I still have it and it still works. Though, I always just dropped a 120mm fan on it so it would run insanely cool (never really topped 60C) and whisper quiet relative to other cards of the era.

Beautiful card in it's time, and quite expensive for 20 year old me.. sadly it got absolutely crushed by the soon to be released 8000 series... I flipped a lot of burgers for my 7950 during college lol
 
The following pictures are of a different member's card, but I had a similar setup with a reference PNY Geforce 8800 GT with custom RAM / mosfet aluminum heatsinks and a passive Arctic Accelero S1 cooler. The custom heatsinks were made by someone named "Iandh" but I don't remember if they were from Hardforum. The sheer practicality along with the silent operation for a fairly high performance card of the day made it my favorite by appearance and by actual use.

Used Arctic Silver Ceramique on the card's memory, mosfets and pwms. The Accelero came with Arctic Cooling MX2 pre-applied so I just left it and used that since people say it does just as good a job or even better than AS5. Plus it's not electrically conductive / capacitive like AS5.

AGP version. My last AGP video card. Used in the last PC I had with a single core CPU, too.

Also erek if you seriously have one of those Ares cards you want to get rid of, I might be interested. I collect dual GPU cards, although they're usually dead when they make it to me. Heh.

yes i do have one, are you in the UK or US? do you already own a few ARES cards? it's very heavy

I don't have an Ares card - just some of the more common dual GPU cards like the 690 and 295x2 I posted earlier.

How heavy are we talking about? It can't be any heavier than a 295x2, can it?

it's the heaviest GPU i've ever handled, but i haven't handled a 295x2

I used to run 2 7800 GTX 256MB in SLI. Still have a couple including the super rare 512MB version. The 7800GTX 512MB actually had more bandwidth than 7900GTX and was in some cases faster if the game benefited from more bandwidth.
