LG 32” GK650F 2560x1440 freesync 144hz monitor $225 free shipping!

If any of you have never gamed on a large screen ( 32:" or above ) or used a high refresh rate .... you're going to be in heaven. I highly recommend spending the money for this 32" 144hz monitor.

Trust me when I tell you, 32" is really not that big ... so don't think this will be too much, it's not. Once you go big, you never go back.

Also, remember, nVidia just recently released their Gsync drivers for HDMI, and it also works on Display port. This monitor should be compatible, so you're going to see smooth game play from 40hz to 144hz. Not sure about that first number but within that range.

This means that if any of you have a lower end video card, say a 1060 or any of AMD's video cards, you're not going to see tearing or dropped frames.

This price is kind of unheard of for a 32" and 144hz, isn't it?

I haven't seen one this cheap. Closest thing I've seen is the HP Omen 32" 1440p which was only 75Hz. That was usually in the $280ish range IIRC.

Like I said earlier. I bought one a few weeks back and it's a great monitor for the $238 OOT I paid for it.

Well that's a bunch of crap it's not even 6 a.m. where I'm at and it's already out of stock and you cannot order the LG monitor

I wonder two things...

1). When did this go live? I was up at midnight EST, and it wasn't live yet.

2). When I checked at 6am EST, it was sold out, so how fast did it go?

Well, I don't feel bad about picking up the 650 seeing as the 850 is near impossible to find.

Well crap that didn't last long. It is the cheapest it has ever been on the Costco site so that could have something to do with it.

Is there anywhere else to get a deal as good as this? I am bummed and have waited to purchase this for a couple of weeks now. Pretty pissed on how Costco handled this. I am sure every member bought 5, with 4 going off to ebay.

... with 4 going off to ebay.

THIS. This right here. This is what's wrong with this shit. I wanted ONE. I really wish Costco had set the limit to 2 per member, or made it "Members Only". As far as I can tell, it was open to the public, which means that you didn't have to be a member to buy it (if you weren't a member, it costs you a little bit more, like $10-$20).

I am quite bummed also. Like I said above, I'll settle for a 650 for $200-ish, but the best price I've found is $280 at MicroCenter, but that's pretty close to standard pricing anyway.

Already out of stock, what the fuck.

They need to make this type of shit members only and a limit of 1 purchase per membership. These "resellers" that scoop everything up in the first minute of the sale piss me off.

No kidding. Plus, it sounds like I would have had to have been up at 2 AM to even have a chance at this deal.

I added mine to my cart last night and was able to checkout about 1 1/2 ago, with it in the cart. One of the few great deals out there,

Lucky you. Though to be honest, in my opinion, that is BS that their cart doesn't empty after a certain amount of time.

Maybe not, but it is $50 more than I should be paying

Scalpers gonna scalp. I was up looking for an AMD 3950x the other day at midnight and then all morning, but no dice. Scalpers on ebay are selling them for $1250. No sense crying over it.

The $50 premium for that ebay one is still a good deal for that monitor.

I agree on that and could be a bug of some sort, when i woke up and saw it was sold out i was kinda bummed till i logged in and it was still in cart and was able to check out.

Either that or you'll get a cancellation e-mail later today... I hope not though.

I just got it to go in my cart and ordered it. Go get it boys!

Same. I think they have a lot of stock coming back into the system (maybe from over-orders, cancellations, etc). It took a few tries, but I got the order in!

It let me add it to my cart, then it would say that there wasn't any quantity. Then I could re-add it.

I actually got it in the cart and placed the order. Got the email confirming my order as well.

Same now. It must have been going in and out while I was checking out (I don't save my payment info).

Gratz, I wonder if they are spacing them out so they don't get ordered at once? or there system might just suck.

Their servers are getting hammered. It wasn't inventory going in and out...I just tried to update/change/add my addresses in my profile, and I was getting the same errors...

I got to the point where I can checkout. $291 after tax and no costco account surcharge.

Actually, that's kind of a scam...they let you get to the point of "Place Order" only to tell you there's no inventory.

Sold out again, looks like. God dammit.

Also it's a bit scummy that it shows as "Add to Cart" before you log in, and then when you do it shows OOS.

I wonder if it went out of inventory as you were checking out...

Which would mean that there isn't real-time reservation of their items. They might have 5 items in stock, but 30 people can all add it to their cart, but only the first 5 who successfully check out get the item?
That's a shitty system if so...

Also...holy crap...what kind of taxes are you paying? Mine came to $265 after tax. Or did you also pay for express shipping?

I don't have a Costco account so I have to pay a surcharge (supposedly 5%, but it is on the $500 original price not the $250 price).

I just checked as well and it shows out of stock. I would keep checking throughout the day. My cart still has one of the monitors in there and it looks like it will let me buy it. I dont know how its still in there when I already purchased one.

Yeah, I'll keep refreshing the page.

What a poorly-handled sale, though.

That I definitely agree with. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal...I mean how many people are really in the market for a 32" monitor these days, especially with the use of tablets and laptops. On top of that, it is at a members warehouse. All of that should have meant that there was sufficient quantity/availability.

Well, they just removed it from my cart and when I tried to add it back in, it now says OOS.

Seems pretty standard these days. Had happened to me on meant sites where something goes out of stock while it's in my cart making an order.

Tht opposite would be like a reserve system. No way they're going to let product held up sitting in someone's cart. Maybe a five minute rule would be cool.

For what you would be paying anyway, that ebay listing I posted would be just as good. They are down to 1 left.
