Never owned a VA model before. So would love to have some feedback.

Is this normal in for a VA display the light coming in from around the sides? In games and desktop it really doesn't seem to effect anything but I'm not sure if it means anything? Obviously not IPS glow, backlight bleed, but it's very uniform around the outer edge?

Lastly if anyone has any setting recommendations for a MSI Optix MAG271C please let me know. :D

Make sure you are using Displayport. Only AMD cards support Adaptive Sync over HDMI.

Fixed the photos, updated my post. Hoping to make sure this panel is alright.

I found a stuck pixel.. My least favourite part about buying a PC's is the BS of buying these things and figuring if there are issues. I returned 3 Dell G-sync monitors a few years back and haven't bothered to relive this experience again until now. I have this and an ASUS vg279Q which I will return it really didn't blow me away. I could return this one as well still well within the time frame.

It's hard to judge clouding on an overexposed picture of clouds, but if the dark spots were meant to look similar, I'd be as surprised as you are about the glaring spot in the center. The sides look somewhat normal for a VA panel at a steeper angle. At normal viewing distance I'd hope it wouldn't be noticeable due to the curve normalizing the viewing angle somewhat. (At least I think that's what engineers are attempting with all those curved VAs nowadays. :) )
