Geforce Game Ready Driver 441.20 released

At least the GTAV issues are being acknowledged. Right now the game is unplayable.

It was acknowledged months ago though and at this point has become ridiculous.
Yes because tracking down an issue in two complex pieces of software, figuring out the issue, figuring out what is causing the issue, and how to resolve the issue is a really simple process.

Yeah I guess we can just use that excuse for anything then. Hell I better not see you ever complain about any popular game having an issue for months. And oh wow look I can roll my eyes too.

Have you ever programmed a driver or a video game? Have you ever programmed anything with more than a million lines of code, let alone both that have to interact with each other to work? It took a team of 6 of us 3 weeks to track down an issue with a specific mouse in a simple game only made up of about 100,000 lines of code, dedicating 4 hours a day 5 days a week in QA to the single issue. Driver teams have to worry about compatibility with thousands of games and work with game developers who may not be supporting those games anymore.

I understand your frustration, but please keep things in perspective.

Is the GTA issue new or is it related to the online mode? I haven't touched the game in a long time, but it was pretty bulletproof when I did play.

I believe it has been an issue for at least three months now as I know it was happening even in August.

Personally it started crashing about a month or so back. Direct to desktop, affects the 3 people I play with.

Nvidia's been cranking new driver releases out lately. 441.41 were released yesterday.

"Image Sharpening Support for Vulkan and OpenGL
Last month, we introduced a new NVIDIA Control Panel Image Sharpening feature that enables
GeForce gamers to improve clarity and sharpness in DirectX titles, and to easily upscale and
sharpen. With this new Game Ready Driver, this feature is also now available for OpenGL and
Vulkan games. "

And of course GTA V crashing still has not been fixed after all these months. Of course I shouldn't complain according to Armenius...
