Are there any cheap Wifi6/AX routers or access points?

These new AX routers are jammed with features and super expensive. But I think I need the speed and selectivity, because wifi in the city with 10+ devices per unit is getting super crowded. I can only get 26mbits through wifi at best with any of my three 802.11n router/aps.

To cut costs, I was thinking of simply getting an AX access point --- but are there any?? Or, when will router prices come down?

The tech is too new so you wont find any cheap ones till at least next year, probably 2 years.

Another way to go would be to get three .11ac access points and spread them through your living space connected to the router with ethernet. That will let you have less devices per access point for better overall speed
Or you could go with a high quality mesh system that has dedicated backhaul links (as expensive as a new ,11ax router) and it is essentially the same thing as multiple access points but they connect to each other over wifi instead of ethernet

TP Link has one for a mere $69. But you can only get it at Walmart.com apparently.

Just to follow up, I got the above Tp Link router and got it running.
So far it is EXCELLENT. Range is great and I am getting every last Mbps (100Mbps) from my provider to the desktop over AX.
Other machine running AC or N I forget which is also very fast.

I recommend

I recommend as well! Really good router.

It is kind of a hidden gem. You wouldn't think a $69 router would be this good. Been running for a couple weeks and it is awesome. I will be out walking the dog and realize that I am still connected to wifi. Crazy.
