I have 2 x140 mm grey Noctua fans i ddint know the cheaper didnt come with the adapter y cable. So the end of the case fan is the 4 pin with the holes in it NOT the pins. I dont have any motherboard connectors left to plug into anything. What do i need to get the 2 140 mm fans up and running please. Any links would be nice to Tankies in Advanced :D

This lets you re-purpose a Motherbiard header and powering your 2 fans plus the one you stole the header from.

the end that has the pins on it is that 4 pin or 3 ? i think thats what is getting me confused, I need the pins to be 4 to insert into my pc case fan end if that makes sense?
You shouldn't have to worry about it unless you want the motherboard dynamically throttling/kicking up your fan speeds. The thing is, whatever you plug into that splitter is all running at whatever the header is configured to run at in the BIOS or OS Fan Control software. There is only one way to connect these splitters. The singular end goes into the motherboard header and the splitter ends are all male for your fan power connectors.

pendragon1 Dude! Nice find, I just ordered that for myself to toss on the shelf. I love having these things around especially for header starved motherboards. Thank you!
