I've put together a video review of the LG 24GM79G, and I was hoping the HardForum Display folks would tell me everything that's wrong with it!

Some notes:

It's twenty minutes long, which is definitely too long, but I wanted to have an initial video explaining where all the measurements come from. My video production skills are also quite bad.

Ideally, I'd put all the measurements and charts up on a single webpage, à la tftcentral, but creating a competent website seems much harder than putting together a video.

I'm looking first for anything that I'm doing that's obviously wrong, but if I'm talking too fast or too slow, or the charts are hard to read or unclear, I'd love to hear it. Is there something I'm not measuring that I should measure? Watching it now, I'm trying to make a point at around 11:35 that this FreeSync display doesn't do variable overdrive, but I'm not sure you'd catch that if you weren't seriously into monitors.

My first constructive criticism is that video reviews should be paired with text for people who can’t view them or would rather see print. Especially for charts and data

Back when Netscape Navigator was a thing, I was pretty good at throwing together a webpage. Everyone had roughly the same resolution monitors, so if you kept your page width less than 800 pixels, you were good. Now everything needs to be responsive, so you can look at it on your phone, sideways and upside down.

I take your point, though. A text/web version is a high priority, as long as there are no major methodological errors.

I would recommend that you talk a bit slower to make it easier for people to follow. Accents can be a problem for some people and speaking quickly only makes it harder to understand. Personally I dislike YouTube vids because I find it difficult to extract the information that I want. It is far easier for me to get the information from a written document such as a pdf. There is also the time it can take to sit through a video waiting for the information I require. Getting the info from a pdf/text document is considerably quicker for me.

You make a reference to Baseball at a guess? This is fine if you understand baseball but not much use if you do not. We are not all from the USA.
