Working with limited space inside a Phanteks Evolv Enthoo ITX case, so the GPU must be a true 2-lot card.

It's hard to tell how retailers classify cards that take up just a little bit over 2-slots (2.5 slots are classified as 2 or triple slot?) so I was hoping to get some input by those with first hand experience with their respective 2070S/2080 cards. Shopping around in SoCal, and I'm local to Newegg, Frys, and Micro Center. TIA!

FE cards are guaranteed to be 2 slots. It's also easy to tell if the card will take up more than 2 slots by looking at the I/O plate. If you see the cooler extending past the I/O plate then it is wider than 2 slots.

Thanks. I thought so too about the second point, but a lot of the retail/marketing photos for these GPUs only offer isometric 1/4 angle views on the hardware. Wish there were more "profile" shots where I could easily guage the I/O and shroud heights.

memoryexpress.com always has 'straight on' shots of the cards which is awesome for this.

Most of the 2070S cards are long and seem to be 2.5+, I have the Asus 2070 Super Evo and its definitely a 2.5 slot card. I have mine in an ITX case as well and got lucky it fit, I didn't realize it was so big when I bought it.
