OUTER WORLDS INTERVIEW: ‘I THINK FALLOUT FANS WILL ENJOY OUR GAME’

Read the article. She's really upbeat about the game and its progression. I am personally excited since it is a new game from Obsidian which seems to fall in line with my interests.

I wouldn't be surprised. My first reaction when I heard of this game was New Vegas (was done by Obsidian not Bethesda) with a different setting.

The only thing is despite peoples hate on Bethesda's engine for TES/Fallout it does lend itself well to easy ad hoc type modding and tweaking.

I'm hopeful. It seems like the sort of game I should enjoy, although early versions were apparently rough around the edges. It's definitely not pushing any technical boundaries. Still, it seems like it should be fun. I had a good time with the first 2/3 of Fallout 76, so I'm easy to please.

Apparently? If you've played Obsidian games before you know two things:

1. They make really fun games with a lot of great concepts.
2. they are buggy, rough and some of those concepts are not finished.

All in all, I love Obsidian titles and don't care about the rough bugginess of them, just want them to focus on fleshing out their concepts rather than leaving some unfinished al'la FO4:NV and the Roman army plot.
