What were you still using that for after all this time? I chucked those out years ago because they were too small to do anything and the average modern WD Black drive is faster than those are.
 
my 300GB WD Raptord drive is still happy in my dad's home PC after I moved to SSD's years ago. That's got to be the longest running drive I've ever owned - and it's not close.

I'd say getting 13 years + out of a spinning platter drive is quite nice.
 
I have a wd black 1tb from april 2009 that still works, the last raptor died in 2014.
 
It's not a Raptor or a Black drive (this was from before they did that branding although the AAKS line ended up being the first Blue drives) but this is still my OS drive.

I guess I don't beat up my drives too badly. I've only had 1 or 2 hard drives fail on me in 30 years.

I tend to run multiple drives in RAID arrays and I do tend to beat mine up some what. That said, most of my drives get replaced before they fail. I normally replace them for performance reasons more than capacity or due to failure. I've only had a half dozen die on me. This is out of probably 50+ drives I've owned. I probably have 20 or 30 in my office in varying sizes ranging from 73GB Raptors to 2TB Western Digital Enterprise drives. I don't have any larger than that.
 
I still remember when those were a big deal. Shame it died, i always wanted to have one of those back in the day.

My NAS build has a couple 3TB in a ZFS mirror. I usually end up rebuilding it every 3/4 years to ensure I don't lose any data. But with ZFS those fears shrunk a lot over software mirroring.
 
74gb .... that's fancy. These 10,000 rpm drives run hot and heavy.

Have not used this one much because of it's size. Some will remember these drives at beginning of the SATA era. Many burned them up ignoring the numerous stickers and warnings NOT to connect both molex and SATA power connectors.
