2080 Ti and/or Titan RTX BLACK coming soon...

Sounds like you’re dropping the hobby then. Transistors cost the same if not more at 7nm. There’s no magical price drop coming.

For me, this is no hobby but a passion and a profession. PC's are not dying or going anywhere but, if they were, NVidia's extreme pricing does not help.

The Titan went down in price actually. Check your facts.

Titan RTX launched at $2499 and right now at nvidia is still $2499 - Volta of course was $2999, however Titan Xp before it was just $1200 - I've yet to see a Titan (I've owned them all other than Volta) drop in price once launched.

The Titan Xp went for £1250, but the later Star Wars Xp cards went for £999.

Technically not a price drop though.

checks thread, people are still reee'ing about prices.

If AMD and possibly Intel had NOTHING Ngreedia would have a more mid range card maybe 2070 super as the highest and that would be it for likely $800+ per, minimal over hell even just right built

but now they talking 2080 Ti and Titan Black or whatever super duper fancy clock X premium Epeen edition.. says they KNOW something is out there or can be quickly enough with some coxing (I sure not spelled that correctly) so they ARE or will be release something prior to or shortly thereafter.

Nv in all their foolishness MUST have a true full blown core still kicking around i.e prior to software emulate some of the most advanced feature for DX etc (Tessalation and all that) power use would be nuts not sure if even the best lowest nm scale would allow all that much advantage in that regard, but the sheer performance given would be killer for gaming environment...Not that super etc need more performance, but is kind of "sad" that Nv not make them RT cores able to be mixed function just like current shaders are that is, only RT handle RT, but, if toggled to "other" they add to the "normal" potency.

something along those lines, seems silly I should be saying stupid as oh hell in my opinion to LOCK the big boys into doing something that is really not 100% effective/usable everywhere all the time, where being able to use the fancy hardware on another task that is, that would be different, would be another "reason" of -why buy something else, when only we offer the dual functionality of Ray Tracing in hardware as well as ShaderNT both part of Nvidia performance leadership" (ShaderNT I label as stand for next tensor or ntention as in Intention as in what you need that/the shaders to do i.e the intention of, so ShaderNT kind of "fits"

^.^

...who knows, all of them do some cool things, but also some "the hell, we all not made of loads of money and want to replace shoddy things constantly/ send for RMA just to realize that had one went to a one notch lower model used the saving to get the next release similar model you would be better off"

Checks thread, sees people are still completely understanding that Nvidia's pricing is unnecessary and hurts the PC gaming industry.

I see your full of it as always, I also don't see this supposed hurting of the PC gaming industry as AMD is still alive and well.

I do see a bunch of manchilds whining over the price of products, a price that the market currently supports and thus is justified. Come the point that the market no longer supports the pricing, they will drop, reeing about it is just screaming at the clouds.

reeing about i? LOL! Just how much Nv stock do you own? I stand by what I said, not whined or reeded about, and that is just the way it is. Should be interesting when the PS5 / XBox 2 is released for probably $499 and yes, they will be fast enough to do 4k on the TV's at 60fps, with HDR.

None (stock), not sure why I keep showing ignored people though.

Also the thread is full of reeing, and your points are just ridiculous as always.

Great, I'm happy if PS5 can do that, couldn't give a crap about Microsoft after the crap that is xbone but at least it'll step up the overall game fidelity. Doubt they can do it without checker boarding.

Arguably, it helps the industry and it means the more money nvidia makes, the more it can invest in future graphics tech, like RTX.

They could have just pocketed the profit like AMD, just sayin'...
