Well I managed majestic solstice armour on 2 of my characters ... but it just isn't going to happen on 3. I did finally pick up my first seal / title (Dredgen) while doing it though ... so there is that.

Dumb question:

On the Destiny 2 companion app, for example: Fireteams. I've been using this like a champ to assemble fireteams to do Nightfall and other activities. Obviously to invite people you need their full battletags. Up until very recently (I want to say the last week or so) full battletags were out in the open and now no more. Did they change a setting somewhere or do I need to change something? If so....where and what?

When I use the app I occasionally need to just refresh the app and then the full tags show up.

Now if people would stop being obstinate and have their fireteam set to 'public invite' that would be nice. Grinding out the 'least horrors' and this one cat was just the pits. Demanding I accept friend invites and then just sucking a lot.. I mean I hate that strike but he ended up making it 37ish minutes long for one run.

So, i don't use it regularly but I also remember the full Battletag being there. I'm trying to look at it myself right now and the app is loading anything so I can't even verify :-/

May reinstall it and try again.

Are you joined in on the fireteam or just looking?

I just joined one and got the same thing. It's funny because I get what you mean, sometimes if you refresh it I recall the full tag coming up but now that I'm focusing on it, I can't get that to happen.

Finally got my Hush after playing way too much Gambit. Went from 0 to a full reset in one day to finish off my Hush (I was about 50% on every requirement). Now I'm thinking about Reckoner.....

Only bow I enjoy using, especially after the hell of getting it. Full reset in a day, that's commitment!

I'm going to need to be really, really bored to go for Reckoner. Good luck!

Yea I had a bit of time away from the game and I'm mostly a PvPer. Spent a lot of time carrying clan mates to 2100 instead of doing other interesting things.

Thought about Reckoner but would also like to farm god roll Spare Rations....

Yeah you and everybody else. Can't bring myself to sit in Reckoning right now, maybe after the buff the drop rates. I'm getting mapped by those max range rolls pretty consistently recently.

I probably shouldn't complain given what I have currently but I just really want rico rounds...

Full bore (+15 range)
HCR
Rapid Hit
RF
Range MW

I will say in my usage of the gun in PVP that Rangefinder and the archetype/base stats makes the gun insane. I get some of the dumbest aim assist headshots at the craziest distances.

I dunno if ricochet rounds would be worth grinding. You don't get the extra range, but HCR adds a ton of aim punch in pvp. Not a bad trade off, tbh.

RR has a hidden range perk.

Ever since the HCR nerf I've never noticed HCR making a big difference. Maybe if they brought it back in Shadowkeep that'd be great but as it stands, RR is king in PVP for Hand Cannons. (at least on PC where I play. I believe on console the de facto HC for PVP is either last word or luna howl/NF)

The battletag issue might be related to them ditching battle.net in the near future maybe?

Yeah, I knew about the range perk. Hence why I said you wouldn't get the extra range from RR lol. What I wasn't aware of is that they nerfed HCR.

Wow.. that Bad Juju last fight was a hell of a slog. I can see it replacing my Huckleberry (with catalyst) as my general PVE weapon.

I guess I'm a bit confused on your wording, what do you mean I wouldn't get the extra range with RR?

Regarding Bad JuJu, so regretting I waited so long to start grinding the tithe's. Currently only at 30% or so? Long way to go....

I believe it was 15 or 16 or so tributes placed to unlock the mission for Bad Juju so that shouldn't be that bad at least. The Catalyst requires 45 placed which is the real grind.

Nerf to Wendigo and MT quests are huge.

Oh, you said please!
• Wendigo GL3 o Grenade Launcher kills are worth 100% more for each objective
o Death Penalty no longer exist for the final objective
o Grenade Launcher multikills grant 50% more progress
o Completing Playlist strikes grants a significant amount of progress towards the final objective And •
Mountaintop
o Required number of multi-kills has been reduced from 200 to 75
o Required number of medals has been reduced from 100 to 25
o Points earned in Competitive has been further increased relative to other pvp modes
o roughly 1x for Quickplay, 2x for IB, 3x for comp

Eh, make everything easier right before the nerfs hit. Jk, kinda. Wendigo was a decent grind, I think my issue with it was I started it late Friday night and should have went to bed. Finished it the next morning with no issue.

Playing Iron Banner now though, got into a funk yesterday and got owned over and over. I tell ya, if I ever get a Swarm with spikes....I'm calling it, lol. I actually do like the game mode, just not the "It's only available once a lifetime and you have to grind it for what you want." I'd rather take it at my leisure. I assume spikes will get nerfed hard soon though, so maybe it doesn't matter either way.

Iron banner is a great place to pick up multi-kills and the medals for mountaintop being that you typically have a few enemy players in close proximity trying to cap a point. It’s just too bad it’s so sweaty.

It was very sweaty yesterday. Had a few games under 1.0. Lots of stacked teams, I was flying in solo. Lots of titans running recluse, one eyed mask, and shotguns galore. I run a Dawnblade, Calus mini tool with surrounded, blast furnace, with some transversive steps. I seem to float more in the 1.5-2 range but wasn't having it yesterday. I love it but hate it at the same time.

Oof, yeah I think double primary's in this meta would be making things more difficult for yourself. A sniper/shotgun/fusion/breach loading grenade launcher would go a long way for bringing down those TTK's and winning more 1v1's.

Only time I'll run double primary is throwing on Recluse with a hand cannon as its like a Special weapon when its procced.

To be honest, I've gotten pretty good with that setup. Plus I'm kind of addicted to the speed boost with the smg. I cannot bring myself to sniper, I tend to play overly aggressive, and it burns my soul so much when I get mapped by one with i'm about to pwn some noob. Not bitter at all. I'll run a shotgun pending the map. No "slow" weapons like fusions or the grenade launchers though, they never seem to work for me. I always press for faster pace, I can't sit back and camp, or cuddle in a group waiting for folks to run into the pack. :) I did get one of those grenade launchers that's lightweight from one of the nightfalls recently. Forget the name. I may try that.

O man, i'm with you (i prefer my Warlock over the other two) Stacking "speed" stuff like Transversives and Lightweight weapons are my favorite playstyle. With Burst Glide... they used to say Titans were fast. I would definitely try playing around with something like a Militias Birthright and a Quickdraw/Kill Clip Trackless Waste. The combo of flying in, nailing someone with a nade then cleaning up with an SMG is super fun. Reload, proc Kill Clip then go on a spree. You can fly in and kill them before they even realized what happened. Orewings Maul in the energy slot also works.

Now, i've realized this playstyle is great for kills, but pretty poor for KDA. It sure is fun though.

Awesome. Ya, the militias birthright was the gl I was talking about. I got the curated roll of it, don't believe that's optimal, but it should work. Ya, I stack transfersive, lightweight frame, and the burst glide. I almost can't play any other way now.

Titan skate had no real speed limit. They were the fastest, but that's been taken away.

FINALLY picked up a swarm with spikes today. Not a god roll by any means but decent. Also got a curated Bane of Sorrow after my first attempt/completion of CoS.

Sunshot mag size increasing from 8 to 12. Reckoning drop rates are getting buffed. No exact numbers yet...

Sunshot needed the buff. It was pretty awful compared to our other hand cannon options. It's perks are fine, but the ammunition capacity was way too low to consider using it.

Perfect timing. While farming for the Swarm I did pick up the Sunshot catalyst. Took three rounds through the thrall room to knock it out. Not bad at all. Not that I'll actually use it though.

Reckoning though, don't enjoy that. Haven't touched that in quite a while.

So, with the buff to the drop rates in various activities yesterday I hopped in to get a good roll on the Imperial Decree and Austringer. It turns out I had the PVP god roll of the austringer in the vault, according to streamers at least. That has full bore, accurized rounds, eye of the storm, and rangefinder with a range masterwork. Picked up a full bore, assault mag, full auto, swashbuckler ID, i think. It may have grave robber, I can't remember off hand. That thing is a whole lotta fun. I ended up throwing the trusty old curated Threat Level into the vault. Between that and Gunnora's Axe, I may be getting back into shotguns.

Question though, with that new roll of the austringer I would love to try that out in PVP but I love the Ace of Spaces, in part due to the radar while ads. Is there anything that may provide me similar benefit while using austringer? I think there's a mod that had radar return immediately when not aiming down sights.
