Ordered four 5qt jugs of Mobile 1 5w-30 synthetic for $19.98 on sale, decent savings for sure. Compare to Amazon who sells it for $28.99 per jug (not sure what Wally World's normal price is off the top of my head) and I saved $36 on 4 jugs. Thanks Vader for posting

I always get mine from Walmart, then go to this link and get the rebate...Walmart isn't listed, but it works anyway. https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/mobil-promotions/mobil-1-rebate-2019

I actually did the same thing (I purchased online so I hope that doesn't put a nail in the coffin) and submitted the rebate form. After I submitted, I realized I clicked the wrong rebate, I did the $10 one and I believe it should have been the $12 one since I purchased synthetic and not super synthetic. Soooo I purchased online, submitted the wrong rebate from, and purchased from an "officially" unsupported vendor; let's hope whoever processes my submission forgot to bring his glasses to work.

I also used this rebate link instead of the one you posted (which after clicking around takes you to the same rebate page anyway):

Good to know that there is at least a slight chance of it working, if it doesn't I may try again with the right rebate. Thanks for speaking up!

Super Synthetic:

I don't think I'd heard of it either until I did the rebate. /shurgs and keeps using synthetic
Reading these it's all just marketing speak. You can't even compare anything besides the density between them in 5w-30 without going to the tech sheet. No doubt Mobil 1 is one of the best synthetics out there as our Mercedes and Porsche vehicles came with it as factory fill, but geez the marketing speak is out of control.

Mobil 1 is not ms-6395 certified, but Mobil Super Synthetic is. If you have a FCA vehicle and that cerification matters to you.
Yep, there's always those standards as well as the API ones. The funny thing is that even though there shouldn't be a difference, I've notice dealership parts are always superior on quality, especially on Japanese makes. Even on something as common as an NGK spark plug, the Honda part numbers are visibly made better and I believe were made in Japan vs USA even though they were essentially the same part number. I saw this a lot when I was distributing auto parts as well--the dealership parts are the best and cost the most, but the quality is definitely there, even in fluids.
