uh what? You just made up a bunch of crap so you can justify being unreasonable to yourself.
Basically, their lawyers looked over the Kickstarter and the communications. Determined that based on a previous lawsuit on a Kickstarter, they were in muddy water and would likely stand to lose even more money.
Epic, of course, blames Valve for this.
Reasonable people just want out of this dumpster fire.
Good luck trying to find Shenmue 4!
*awaits his $160*
I didn’t make up shit. There was a previous Kickstarter that got sued and lost due to not offering a physical disc with the PC release.
This Kickstarter entered the same murky waters. It’s much cheaper and better PR to justify cave on the refunds than it is to test it in court. So, it’s reasonable to assume their lawyers advised them to do so.
They wouldn’t be doing this otherwise. They aren’t in the business of “caring.”
Secondly, wanting something to bend to the whim of the consumer is not unreasonable in a capitalist society. It’s actually the foundation of it.
I just want out and I’m getting my chance. That’s the end of it.
Here’s a link to Tim Sweeney blaming Valve...

There nothing in Epic's deal stopping Steam from giving out steam keys to play right away but Steam doesn't want to do that. You came to the conclusion that "LUL TIM SWEENEY BLAMES VALVE LULULUL".
You seem pretty unreasonable to me.
Kickstarter backers won't get content in pre-orders/deluxe edition, including the season pass?

Just a standard copy with some KS only bonus I believe. People just like to pile on with then bitching when they don't get everything they were expecting even if was never promised to begin with. For me what it would come down to is, was any of this content promised with the Kickstarter? Did they say you would get "everything", or just a standard copy of the game?
It probably is not going to review very well. It is going to continue to be a niche game that wont sell millions. I just don't see this being a game for the average gamer just like the original games. I am on the fence myself getting it. Just the fact it been what nearly 20 years since the first two came out? I would of like to replay the first two but I don't have the patience to go through those games now. They were a slough back then.So the PR stupidity continues with this game:
Release is on the 19th, I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to it. I'm also sure a lot of people are waiting to see what reviews say. Well...If you want reviews from people getting codes from Koch Media then don't expect to see them until the embargo lifts on...November 21st. For some reason, Koch is trying to prevent review outlets from having a review live until after launch. Not really sure what they hope to accomplish by doing this as its not going to stop people from reviewing the game, all they'd have to do is not sign the NDA and buy their own copy. Not to mention, every single other people already buying the game will be able to post their thoughts on release day. This is really just a confusing and stupid move from Koch.
