It would be a pleasant surprise if they hit this year
Totally agree. Fall/Winter of 2019 would be awesome. I have my doubts that'll happen though but it would be nice. I don't know if it'll matter but W3 was May 15th, 2015. Perhaps that will be the goal. Either way here's looking forward to knowing soon.

So...If this is leaking (assumed to be the standard edition) does that mean the game is coming sooner than we think?

two things: first any different edition types will depend on region. second, these may all be media prototypes and not actually any manufactured products. That was the case with the stupid fallout 76 canvas bags.

Its, presumably, the Polish version since CDP is listed as the publisher. Still, I wonder if we'll see the game as MS' conference tomorrow and, assuming this isn't a fake (because that is always possible with leaks), if it could be a late 2019-early 2020 title.

People build PCs around just one game I mean if that is the case it just happens to be this game.
Why not build a Grim Dawn rig or Battlefield V rig. Bascially if you have a good PC the only things that will enhance the game is the monitor and the soundsystem everything else is secondary. Unless you upgrade your chair to a gaming chair or whatever.

Could only hope. I normally try not to rag on artwork but that cover looks pretty cheap and uninspired. Like a poor man's GTA or something. In the end I don't care about covers but I'm hoping that isn't final for their sake. Simply nothing to separate themselves on the shelf from anything else and motivate a consumer who doesn't know about the game.

Both my rigs were designed with W2 and then W3 respectively in mind. I'm pretty confident my 4930k/2080TI rig will do well with this but if not I'll update as needed. Just finished paying off the debts from sound/display upgrades I did during the holidays.

Amazon placeholder says dec 31, 2019.
It's probably releasing this year.

I'm expecting we're on the verge of getting a release date... really wouldn't surprise me to see it announced during the MS conference that starts in 10 minutes.

I am not, at all, expecting that release date to be in 2019. Holiday 2020 as a launch title for the next wave of consoles makes a lot more sense. Would really like to be wrong, though.

If it isn't a next gen launch title then my guess goes to early-mid 2020. Something like March-May.

They will announce all the preorder editions and a date of fall 2019 at xbox conference. Mark my words.

I agree...having Keanu in this somewhat takes me out of the immersion of the world...

I don't really have a problem with it. most likely they wanted to create a more epic hollywood movie style experience, and to do that they chose a big name actor.
keanu is pretty solid in most of his work, excluding the 2nd and 3rd matrix, but those are not really his fault.

putting Keanu in this changes the game...now everyone will be focused on that versus the gameplay...the game didn't really need a big name actor to sell...

With the kind of money they're probably throwing at the game (it looks VERY expensive) having a name to get people's attention makes sense.

it didn't need it to get people's attention...the game was already one of the most anticipated games in recent memory...

That's just your opinion, though. To me, having Keanu there doesn't change anything at all. You're obviously upset about it, and that's cool, but to say everyone feels the same way as you is rather naive.

Yes because everyone on the planet knows what Cyberpunk is and knows the name "CD Projekt Red". Witcher 3 was amazing and sold well, but don't confuse forum hype with general consumer hype.

Pre-ordered on Steam. If I can enjoy this game at least half as much as I enjoyed Witcher 3, it'll be worth it. I also don't often pre-order stupid crap and thus have yet to regret pre-ordering, so I have some regret to spare if it comes to that.
