Because it's Intel getting shat on by a woke userbase on their own twitter feed, who won't fall for the supplier/OEM integrator/strong arm tactics this time like they did when the A64 and Athlons were kicking ass and taking names. AMD has slowly begun to win the mindshare problem with this release it seems. Why is this posted in the AMD Forum?

This time the internet is far, far more widespread - people have places to discuss this stuff and they are skeptical of mainstream media, review whores and the rest. What you are seeing on that twitter feed is pretty overwhelming in the fact that so many people are voicing such opinions. That's not just /r/amd or something, that's a lot of pissed off users who feel ripped off by the fact they were sold performance at the expense of security and the minimum amount of cores possible.
Intel basically did a 'console hamstring' to the entire industry by being such cheap cunts when it comes to cores. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
When public opinion like that sways, guess what else moves - Admins/IT/etc... I've never seen such opposition to Intel before and the same thing I saw in the 2016 elections abroad is happening to Intel. Enough said.

The Salt must flow. (will post the actual meme when the gf brings it back from my storm cut-off pc in my home country )Wow. Well, that pretty much sums that up...GG N4CR! That is the reason to post it in the AMD forum. I saw it on the Intel side and wondered why we aren't putting it here and baggin on them. Intel has been status quo for so long that they have been caught pants down. Here is an interesting thing, Sky Lake, Coffee Lake, Ice Lake and now Salt Lake. So much crying.
No worries dude, done the same many times. It was quite an eye opener, never seen dissent like that on a hardware manufacturer social media before, crushing really. You know they are reading it because they responded to the one guy in the middle, who asked something like 'where can I learn more about eye niine processurhrs'.Sorry, forgot to click on the twitter link and read below. Niiice.
The feed is BRUTAL over there hahaha
Intel is getting Dick Rammed and Ass Hammered at the same time.
Waiting to hear from
Jaunr.............(shhh) if you say the name 3 times he will get you in your sleep.

Did I miss the post where the Zen2 benchmarks got posted?
The leaks are basically leaked by AMD and there are people that are embargoed that AMD under the table approves to have accidental "Oh shit we leaked this on accident" type stuff.
They are substantially showing great performance. The 6 core is reported to be faster than the 9700k and far superior in price to performance ratio as well. The 16 core leaks show it as the Intel devastator essentially. Embargo should lift soon in full.
What are the credible performance leaks so far?
not 5ghz using boost but can be manually pushed to 5ghz, not sure about all core but definitely single.
16 core is scoring in excess of 4000 points in CBR15 which is faster than Intels I9 18 core Halo
16 core is delayed.
3600x doesn't boost nearly as high as 97/9900k but it is significantly more effecient and powerful than the 9700k
3600x devours the 8700k in all meterics
List goes on
Many of the leaks are leaked out of the motherboard manufacturers whom have sample chips to work with for development.
If you (general statement to anyone reading) think there isn't approved under the counter leaks by AMD/INTEL you have a lot to learn about marketing and sales strategies.
Why do you think they advertise Tesla technology months/years in advance? In order to get the saliva flowing and hunger pangs for the tech in the minds of the consumers who will get so worked up over the potential (as leaked) to buy it without question on release.
Anyways these go on sale on 7/7 so all the details are sure to be dropped on that day from all the reviewers unless there is a paper launch embargo lift prior to that date.
Dont worry, Intel will come back and Destroy AMD next, and thats just how competition works.
Just take all rumors as a grain of salt until reviews are out, this way, you keep your expectations level.Dude, I am not an Intel guy. After AdoredTVs blunder I am simply suspicious towards all supposed leaks.

Not all replies are directed towards the one you are replying with exacting precision. It was a bunch of comments meant for anyone to read, not just you.
