Well, it is time to finally upgrade my motherboard and processor. But since Hard OCP has closed down their review site, the questions is where do I go now for trusted reviews? I always came here for reviews I could trust. Suggestions?

I personally like guru3d.com, there are many solid sites out there. When I am hunting for hardware I check out several sites usually takes me several weeks if not a good month or more before I make a purchase.

Good luck!

Well by the same folks that did the outstanding reviews here minus Kyle:

Paul, Brent and Dan really can't do reviews here, so nice to see their talent will still be used and available for us to enjoy and make better decisions.

Yep. I just spent the entire three day weekend working with almost no sleep to get the first motherboard review for the site done. It hasn't gone live yet, but soon. The benchmarks have been updated as well. So we have all new / current games being used for testing and things like that.

Now that I know your site exists, I'll have to keep an eye on you guys as I like to be able to really digest my reviews. That's a lot harder with YouTube videos.

Also, back to the OP, if you don't mind YouTube and a dry(ish) delivery, I have been impressed with the work of Gamer's Nexus. Steve over there seems to deliver really solid work regardless of the typical tech YouTuber reputation. He's very transparent about his methodology and seems to have a genuine passion for tech regardless of brand. Hardware Unboxed, while not as technical, is also a good watch for a 2nd opinion review.

Really like the layout of the site. Easy on the eyes and efficient. So glad you guys will continue as I've felt your testing methods are the most trusted I've read. It's happily bookmarked now.

Oh hell yeah. Will keep an eye on the site and hope you guys can grow it.

Awesome! Thank you. Bookmarked, set to my home page and account created.
There should be a link to the site at the top of the forums or on the [H] home page.

Freakin' awesome and good for you guys!

Not to take any clicks away from Dan, Paul and Brent. Another that I really like is Digital Foundry on youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/DigitalFoundry, the videos are amazingly well crafted.

Not to worry. For one thing, I have never felt that people should stick with a single source for their information. It's always flattering when people come to you specifically as their one stop shop, but I think there is value in seeing what the overall consensus is on a piece of hardware. Especially where testing methodologies differ. There is also a huge difference between video content and written content. I think there is room for both. Written content works better for some things in my opinion and not as well for others. For example, I think video content is absolutely the way to go for something like case reviews. Anything where a lot of data is presented works best in written format so people can reread and digest the data. Especially if you want to pour over the charts a few times. One day we intend to add video content to at least supplement the written stuff.

I enjoy DigitalFoundry quite a bit (Though I prefer the website to the Youtube channel.) as well as Gamers Nexus but I have trust issues and I'm not quite there with those guys yet so having the [H] crew doing reviews again is a load off my mind. lol

Gamer's Nexus has some decent content. I don't always agree with them and they can be a bit long winded, but I've enjoyed some of their videos.

I had no idea on your site.
Yeah there are other sources, but are they reliable. I wish there was a sticky for your site! Thanks!

I have to +1 this. Guru3D is fantastic, great community there as well.

Don't ever put all your eggs in one basket, read the reviews from multiple sites and get a good sense for what is out there.

At the end of the day I could have spent my time scouring other sites trying to make sure they all lined up just to come up with the same conclusion the reviewers here did. I also knew that I didn't need to be worried about bought reviews or even toned down reviews as they always let the results speak for themselves. When there were issues found or the results were mostly personal taste they were presented in a detailed way that one could determine if that might be a problem for you. Only time I felt compelled to venture of was when I was looking at a specific piece of hardware that hadn't been reviewed here and that was rare for me.
