Visit the Intel Newsroom at 1:30 p.m. Taiwan Time on May 28 (10:30 p.m. PDT, May 27) as Intel’s Gregory Bryant, senior vice president and general manager of the Client Computing Group, gives the COMPUTEX 2019 Industry Opening Keynote. With the theme “Powering Every Person’s Greatest Contribution, Together,” it will be livestreamed from the Taipei International Convention Center.

As part of the keynote, Bryant will demonstrate how Intel and its industry partners are transforming intelligent computing for our data-centric world and the PC’s role in powering the human edge.

Q4 release and no price given. I cant imagine why anyone would care about it when the new Ryzen cpus will already be out before then.

Gen 11 graphics. SuperRes will use AI to clean up video and sharpen the image. Works on photos. Can fix blurry photos. Can track body movements without the typical tracking dots found in a special bodysuit.
 
Intelligent PC. Blur background. Personalized workout. Filter out background sounds in noisy environments. All done with A.I..

I didn't notice anything important that wasn't already revealed.

Ice Lake looks interesting, assuming it delivers in 3rd party testing.

From Computex, AMD and Intel each strengthened their most solid position.

Zen 2, is even more attractive for the enthusiast desktop builder, and from retail reports AMD were already winning this market. Intel really need a desktop CPU price cut to stay relevant to this segment, but this is something Intel almost never does.

Ice Lake looks like it should help Intel maintain its laptop lead. Though 7nm AMD APU are likely coming too soon for Intel's comfort.

Overall things look better for AMD, and they delivered a more solid, substance filled keynote.
 
9900KS needs to be out today, not 5-7 months from now - that's an absolute joke.

Anandtech's liveblog gives me reason to believe there may be a misunderstanding about the release date. This isn't a word-for-word transcript, but you'll see there is a mention of Holoset right before the release date is mentioned, I just hope the release date was actually in reference to the Holoset release date because again, I just can't see Intel needing 5-7 months to bin a 5GHz 8-core CPU when SiliconLottery has been doing this for months already and found that approximately 38% of all 9900K chips can hit 5GHz on all cores.

And really? They're using that 9900KS to... play Fortnite? Why not some Kerbal Space Program with 1000-part rockets and satellites? Or at least some Civ VI, to see how long a turn takes?

I cant see them needing 5-7 months to bin their own chips either when they can just grab 1/3rd of the chips on the shelf and sell them. If it truly does take that long I would imaging the 9900KS is just a publicity stunt

INTEL has not provided the chicken to tickle with much less the feather.
 
Well. AMD stock up ~10% today. We'll see what the market thinks of Intel tomorrow.
