The Ryzen 3000 series and it looks very promising, now I only cared about a 12c24t part with higher clocks and better IPC and it looks like I'm going to get what i want, well mostly as 3.8GHz base and 4.6GHz boost in nothing to gawk at also there with be the architecture updates too like increased FPU capability infinity fabric 2, higher memory clocks, and the X570 chipset its self coupled with the possibility of backwards compatibility with older motherboards.....
Like I said I only ever cared about the 12c24t part the 16c32t would be nice but I feel its most likely doing to be a lower clock then the 12c and the core boost with the clock boost is all want, IPC and everything else is just gravy on top.
So I will be most likely doing a full build from the MOBD up and passing my current MOBD, CPU and MEM on to my brothers ageing 3rd Gen i7 system maybe I will get a new NVME too but thats about it, same case and everything else.
So what you guys thinking now we have some real numbers? looking to do a side grade, hoping for faster single core parts, holding out for the 16c32t part or simply don't care about Zen 2
anyway if everything works out and looks good it will be a nice boost in performance, still will need to get reviews to see how it stacks up in real word app/games not just synthetic benches but things look promising.
