How hot this is depends on how much you spend on drugs and what they are, but with https://www.krogersc.com/ you spend 36 (individual) or 72(family). After that, many common drugs are free, 3 bucks (30 days) or $6(90 days).

And because I know you're mostly old men, I looked up Viagra and it's a bit more...30 day for 9.42 ;)

It really is a good deal. These prices are cheaper than what I'd pay with my insurance (which I thought was decent prior to getting this).

Do a search on whatever drugs you or peeps in your family use and see if it makes sense for you (oh and Kroger may not be called Kroger in your area).

Hmm looks like they don't have potassium bromide (K-Brovet) though Costco and Walmart do not have it anymore either, only the vet (not sure why?). Phenobarbital is somewhat a wash but if you can cut the pills (I don't remember if pheno are pills you can cut or not, i think they are tablets that you aren't supposed to but not sure) that would be cheaper for me since w/ my employee discount 32.4mg 30 day supply is ~$28.74 so $33 for 64.8mg 30 day supply isn't bad though I think Costco has it a bit cheaper still.

Leviteracetam, however, is hella cheap at $6 and would totally be worth it. Before seeing this, Costco was the cheapest place I was able to find it with prices elsewhere going from $80 to well over $140! It's been awhile since my dog isn't on it anymore but I think Costco was in the low 30s or high 20s for a month supply.. Edit, if you're curious about Costco, you don't have to be a member and I used their home delivery/mail order pharmacy and they are really good at answering emails and nice about giving you price quotes and such, good customer service in my experience. Edit2: You can also check out those discount cards but I haven't had much luck, GoodRx didn't work for vet perscriptions for whatever reason. I found other disocunt cards that did work but only on the potassium bromide and I can't get it anywhere but the vet anymore now as places have stopped carrying it, the cards never got me any discounts on levi or pheno and/or the cash price was cheaper. You can also check out Walgreens discount plan and Target/REDcard but they are still pretty expensive. Maybe if you are min/maxing the discount with a big family outweighing the fees heh.

If your pup is on Keppra (Leviteracetam) definitely check this out :-D

Odd, I get Atorvastatin free from Walgreens via my hmo, Aetna. I don't have to go to CVS for that, yet, though that may change in the future, can't get free immunizations from Walgreens any more, would have to go to a CVS. So it pays to shop around, I guess, but it's a major hassle.

I haven’t been buying this medication because of how expensive it is. No luck here either lol

Well that is a brandname medication.

Anyhow, if you have a non-federal/state insurance(i.e. medicare, medicaid, tricare, etc), you can can split-bill Xifaxan's savings card with your insurance.

Go to this link, activate the card, and provide the info to the pharmacy to bill it as a secondary.

Keep in mind, any "renewal" scripts will have to be billed again to this saving's card.

Dang!!! I really do feel sorry for you guys in countries where you have to pay silly money for prescription medication! I would probably be dead if I had to pay for what me & the wife have each every 4 weeks!!!!

I have 10 x 25ug Fentanyl patches, 112 x 20mg instant release Oxycodone, Salbutamol & Fostair inhalers, 60 x 20mg Prozac & 28 x 1mg Lorazepam! Wife has 4 x 20ug Bupronorphine patches, 56 x 100mg Tramadol & now Nefopam (added to next script by Doctor yesterday).

No idea how much that would cost us in the USA but we pay nothing here in the UK for it (due to my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis) but if had to pay it would be around £8.50 per medication regardless of quantity each prescription.

Yes, you can cut phenobarb - most tabs are scored to make it easier and more accurate. Check with the pharmacy on availability of 60mg or 30mg phenobarb and compare cost vs 64.8/32.4mg. You'll need a new script or the pharmacist will have to call to get the OK to change strengths. Availability of K-Brovet will depend on whether their wholesaler supplies it.

Jesus H Christ on a unicycle!!!!

Those would be £8.50 regardless of amount per month here in the UK! Shame that it would be illegal to send them over to you from here!

As an American living in the UK, I really do feel for my friends and relatives back home complainingmomg about crazy med costs. Thank God for the NHS. I've lived in France and Canada now for short periods as well with far superior healthcare... for much lower cost. What in God's name are we doing in the US.

I've done the math, and I pay far less to Her Majesty in NI than I was paying for mediocre insurance in the US. And that's being in a higer tax bracket. And without getting sick!

I have insurance of course. I do have a $4000 deductible which isn’t great but isn’t the worst either.
I have a separate prescription plan that is no more than $5 for medicine or its $0 if its 90 day.

My medical deductible is only $100 though so I feel you for with that 4k deductible.. :(

No offense to the OP but can't this forum be for tech related deals?
This has never been exclusively tech deals, unless headphones for music are now considered "tech" and if so, then drugs are tech...biotech. If this helps someone, then it's worth it. If not, then it's not a big deal. Nobody forces anyone to read any of these. I skip over 90% of the deals without even reading the thread.

Two opioids, an SSRI, and a benzo? Yikes!

Yeap & hardly touches the pain TBH. I hardly sleep as well. I have been on the high strength scripts for so many years now that they have little effect on me. The Doc's also say that because I smoked a lot of Cannabis when I was a teenager, my body is used to sedating medications in that they have next to no effect! Docs don't want to increase them either as if they do, they won't be able to later on in life should I require them more. I have learned to live with the pain now TBH. Yes it stops me doing a lot physically which pisses me off, but have to admit defeat at times and come back to tasks when I can do them. I have lots of task to do in the "Man Cave" at the moment such as rig up 2 x NetGear GSM7224 24 port gigabit switches & run new cables from the router to the room. To do that means lifting a couple of carpets & some floor boards to run the new cables (they are about a metre too short to reach the new switches & cannot place them any closer!).

I drive no problems on all that medication as well!!!! Never had an accident that was my fault in over 25 years of driving (only accident was a drunk driver pulling out in front of me which was not my fault at all many years ago before I was on the meds).
