Announcing the Epic Mega Sale
5.16.2019

Hey Everyone,

We’re excited to announce an event of epic, dare we say, mega proportions launching today: the Epic Mega Sale, which runs in the Epic Games store from May 16 to June 13.

During the Epic Mega Sale, developers and publishers are discounting a ton of great games up to 75% off. Also, for every game purchase $14.99 and above, Epic Games provides an additional $10 off to you at no cost to the publisher or developer.

Go to the Epic Games store home page to check out all of our partners’ sales. For more information, check out the FAQ.

Oh, and one more thing...

Since launch, we’ve released a free game every two weeks in the Epic Games store. The reception has been great - over 25 million free games have been installed so far! We’re thrilled to share that during this sale period, we're offering you a free game every week – starting with Stories Untold, an experimental adventure game by No Code. Be sure to check back each week for new free game offers.

Now go check out the sales!

Anyone play World War Z? At $20 I might pull the trigger. I just don't want it to be a really short game.

Stories Untold is available for free now. As a fan of the old classic text adventures this sound interesting to me.

cvinh WWZ is a lot of fun, got it the day it came out. Fun destroying hordes of zombies, lot of replayability with leveling up your characters and playing at higher difficulty level.

SPARTAN VI I got Ashen when it first came out as well. Very good price at $20. Has a pretty good dark souls feel to it gameplay wise. I've probably only got around 8-10 hours in so far, but seems like I've got a good bit left to go.

If anyone likes platformers like rogue, absolutely pick up Hades. it's a ton of fun. Especially for like $5 that it's selling for during the sale.

Im gunna keep downloading all the free games they give away but then not buy anything from them, in case that fortnite money disappears (doubtful) before they get a good client built. :-P

They missed the opportunity to call this the Epic MegaGames Sale, so I'll pass.

They havn't impressed me with any PC game they've released since UT2004, mostly because thy abandoned PC for consoles. Just because they decided to start trying fifteen years later doesn't mean I've forgotten.

They'll lose interest once again, once the next generation of consoles launches.

Yeah, that makes absolutely zero sense. They're not going to pour millions of dollars into the store and "lose interest" in it unless it completely fails.

Heavy rain got me, $10 for a game that I have refused to play on console. Can't wait. Not a fan of epic but for this game I dont care

Also got Heavy Rain because i want to try it. Also got Afterparty since it was fairly cheap. None of the rest really interested me although i MAY consider World War Z. (Heard it's basically a newer Left for dead clone with newer graphics but much the same type of gameplay, minus a few new twists :couchpotato:)

If anyone is looking for a decent grid based dungeon crawler, check out Operencia. Picked it up for $10 last night on EGS and have really been enjoying it so far. Feels a lot like Might and Magic X, from the graphics to the gameplay.

Heavyrain is not yet released, right?

I'll have to check that out since I enjoyed M&M X. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice, i played the first Metro game and really liked it. I have Metro Last Light on Steam but have not been able to play it as I get terrible motion sickness despite trying to mess with the various graphics settings :-(. Seems to always be the damn sequels to so I get interested in the story and then it's snatched from me lol. BioShock 2, the new Resident Evils, the new Dead Spaces and so on LOL Just my damn luck lol. Play the heck out of LL for me, I paid full price d'oh :)

I had that issue with Bioshock 2 as well. Don't notice it in Metro.

Nice to see Ubisoft finally jumped in on the sale. I picked up FC: Primal for $5. Might pick up Anno also, still not totally sure I'm sold on that one.
