Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but if not, please move. Appologize. Here is my PC Parts list. Let me know your thoughts on this. I wanted something pretty powerful. I also in my total budget I wanted to leave enough room to pick up a Surface Pro 6 too. My total budget was $5k. I have a Dell 34" Ultrawide already, Corsair gaming keyboard and G900 and MX Master 2s mouse. So I am good with all that.

Ryzen 2 is about to come out, I would wait a bit.

ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro for M.2 drives

Looks good to me. My OCD would never let me use mismatched SSD's like that, but other than that I like it. The motherboard is one area you could save some money on, but its within your budget. If that's the board you want, then that's fine.

Agreed, I wouldn't like them mismatched, if they showed. But they will be under heatsinks and you won't be able to see them. And the HP one is for all the games to be installed on, so that one is not my performance one really. It was the base nvme I could find without doing SATA SSD, so, that saves a few cables of space and stuff. :)

Would you choose AMD if it was faster? Two weeks you'll know the answer if so.
I was never a big fan of Intel but chose their 2600k at the time because it was the best option..
Other than that looks like a decent build.

considering it. Do you guys think I should switch the 2080ti from the Gigabyte to the Evga ftw3 model? I know the gigabyte would go with the theme and rgb of the board, but I guess it doesn't really matter as EVGA has its own controller too.

The GIGABYTE one not only matches, but will use the same RGB control software. Its not a huge deal but its convenient. The GIGABYTE cards are pretty good so far. I like mine.

I would suggest more fans for the case. The dust filters on it make airflow a bit restricted with just an AIO

Yeah, I am adding Corsairs RGB fans total of 9. I haven't figured out how to do it with Corsairs stuff yet. I want 3 on the bottom, 3 on top for the radiator, and 3 on the side. The controller only allows 6 fans. Anyone have experience with that?

Dan, thanks for the tip. I guess I'll leave the Gigabyte on there then. They have a 4 year warranty too if registered within 30 days. So that's a plus.

Glad to hear it works well Dan! I've owned EVGA mostly, and my last was a Asus Strix 1080ti, so hopefully everything here will work great!

I've owned mostly EVGA and AMD / NVIDIA branded cards over the years. Its rare that I've owned anything else. I've had a couple BFG Technologies cards, but they've been out of the game since sometime after I bought GTX 280's. I've had a few miscellaneous cards from Galaxy, ASUS, XFX and others. I've rarely purchased non-reference cards as I don't usually think they are worth the money. My opinion on that has changed regarding the RTX 2080Ti specifically. I went with the GIGABYTE card based on reviews, the basic design and the fact that its RGB software would be the same as my motherboards.
