Actually they came back in stock about a week ago and sold out within an hour thanks to the deal sites.

Just FYI, I believe this slickdeal was a Black Friday 2018 deal and not an active current deal.

I see 3 of these laptops supposedly available at Walmart locations in my area, but a quick call over to the Electronics counter and the employee advised it was a Black Friday deal where 3 units were stolen and the inventory measured by the BrickSeek site (1st link showing from the slickdeals website) apparently has not / cannot be adjusted for that. Brickseek is a 3rd party sale / inventory tracking site that doesn't have direct access to Walmart systems, so that is apparently the reason for the continuing discrepancy.

That they are. Been running with the 15" for a bit, love this laptop soooooooo much, upgraded ram to 32gb dual channel and she is smooth as silk. Need to get a 1TB nvme soon and a 1TB SSD to replace the 7200rpm spinner in it

Agreed - have the 17 added in two NVMEs to replace the m.2 in it. It rocks.

my only duh moment was - I cannot raid the two nvmes or man this would be a beast but given the drives do 3/gb read writes...no worries here
