Who's in for one?

Only Six-Fitty

If I had the time, I'd get it and see what happens. 99% chance they'll cancel the order due to the mistake, but if not, daaaayyyuuummmm...

Added to the cart, but looks like they want a direct bank transfer or e-check for payment--yikes! Either this is real or a real scam.

Not according to the listing: :D
"For items that require our white glove delivery service, we will manually calculate then email the most competitive delivery rate to you within one working day from receipt of your request."
I feel like this is probably a white glove item.

Hmmm... an RTX 2080 or a Helicopter...
Cell phone or helicopter, lol.

Hmm...so who's going to request a quote? :D

Hmmm...price keeps changing and the MSRP does too--SCAM!
The price is the same, only the currency changed. From USD to GPB, and now to EUR.

I don't think it's a scam just someone wanting to lower the price to 650.000,00, and accidentally entering 650,00.

Regardless there is no way they'd honor that price.

On second thought I Did some digging, the other ads on the site are fake too. Just clicked on a random "mansion" ad, the images were of an italian hotel.

So scam. They'll wait until enough idiots transfer the $650 and bail

30 years old, probably costs more than it's worth just to maintain.

Just did a whois inquiry on the domain and surprisingly it's been registered since 1997.

Found this article that gives the media contact: https://www.wrcbtv.com/story/399319...re-only-the-top-1-of-the-population-can-visit

Aircraft is different than automobiles. Generally, they have certain requirements for engine rebuilds, etc. based on the hours of use. Just because its old doesn't mean it wouldn't work. And aircraft maintenance in general whether it be a brand new helicopter or a 30 year old one is usually cost prohibitive (or else we'd all be flying around in helicopters instead of driving in cars).

Its a 1986
Airframe probably has documented proof of metal fatigue.
It happens to older aircraft.
FAA has it's priorities, namely, inspections required before it gets in the air.

It'll never fly again.

But...
That turbine would probably power a helluva car/boat.....motorcycle ?!?
Best use for the engine (that almost never wears out) is a generator.

So of they actually ship what am i going to do, leave it in the backyard?

Edit: bad gateway, would have bought it too.

One word--Jet Beetle.

The engine is a General Electric Model T58-8F. This is a helicopter turboshaft engine that was converted to a jet engine by some internal modifications and a custom tailpipe.

I'm definitely in for a few, I'm good at flying a helicopter in BF so this can't be that hard.... Right??! *I'm not serious just in case that's needed*

But yeah, this would be awesome.... My HOA already hates me

Didn't "hush-hush" used to be like an upskirt voyeur site like fifteen years ago?
