2014 article: 'Call of Duty' Creators Collaborated With Pentagon Adviser in Upcoming Videogame

In an attempt to create a more authentic in-game experience in an eagerly anticipated instalment of the Call of Duty franchise, developer Sledgehammer Games sought advice from a "scenario planner" from the American Department of Defence, it was revealed today.

"Three years ago, right after we finished Modern Warfare 3, we started thinking about how to change Call of Duty," Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey told the Guardian.

"We brought in a lot of outside help - military advisers, futurologists - we got together with a scenario planner from the Department of Defense, who is active in the Pentagon. His job is to think about future threats and prepare 'what if' scenarios for the US government. So we asked him, what do you think will be the conflict of tomorrow?"

After Modern Warfare 3 released in 2011, Call of Duty: Black Ops II released in 2012, and then Call of Duty: Ghosts released in 2013.


The seventh mission of Call of Duty: Ghosts is called Federation Day, and it takes place in Caracas, Venezuela. The mission is to upload a virus to the the Guri hydroelectric dam to cause a blackout and flood the city.

That scenario closely resembles what has recently happened in real-life, with the Guri hydroelectric dam, which delivers electricity to around 80% of Venezuela, being repeatedly hit with cyber-attacks, shutting the dam down and forcing lengthy blackouts in 18 of Venezuela's 23 states.

Is it just a coincidence that Venezuela's Guri dam was taken out by cyber-attacks like the 2013 CoD: Ghosts scenario that was likely written by a Pentagon scenario planner? Well, it turns out that the shutdown of Venezuela's Guri dam was cited in a 2010 US government document, leaked courtesy of WikiLeaks, as a "watershed event" that... :
would likely have the impact of galvanizing public unrest in a way that no opposition group could ever hope to generate. At that point in time, an opposition group would be best served to take advantage of the situation and spin it against Chavez and towards their needs. Alliances with the military could be critical because in such a situation of massive public unrest and rejection of the presidency, malcontent sectors of the military will likely decide to intervene, but only if they believe they have sufficient support. This has been the pattern in the past three coup attempts.

US Regime Change Blueprint Proposed Venezuelan Electricity Blackouts as ‘Watershed Event' to stir up Venezuelans to force regime change


Is more evidence required to show that the taking out of Venezuela's Guri dam and the scenario in Call of Duty: Ghosts are so similar because they are actually one-and-the-same scenario, written by the US government?

Well, almost immediately after Guri dam was knocked out in real-life, US senator Mark Rubio gloated about it on Twitter, while including mention that Venezuela's backup power generators had also failed:

The thing is, when M Rubio made that post, nobody in the public or in Venezuela yet knew that the backup generators had failed.

Around 2 hours and 45 minutes later, Venezuela's president, Maduro, issued a comment of his own about the dam losing power, calling it an attack on Venezuela's electricity by the US.


While the US government argues that Venezuela's blackouts which have caused disaster and deaths are signs of poor leadership from Venezuela's president and therefore he must be replaced, the facts, prophesied through Call of Duty: Ghosts, appear to me to indicate that the US government is the actual guilty party.

The people who makes games for a living create a more realistic version of life. Compared to what a ordinary person can experience.Thus the appeal of then and also being larger than life or superhuman that makes the people feel immersed then ordinary life. Untll shit hits the fan and it affects everyone's smart phone from being charged =)
