Just bought a new complete computer.

2700X
msi x470 carbon pro
2x 8 gskill 3000 DDR4
power suply is an EVGA gold 850w
games are on a SSD

seems like my RTX is stuttering across all games , every 4-5 mins there is a slight stutter in game. I tried lots of different settings , stocks. Did DDU and reinstalled fresh. My 970 isnt stuttering when i install it.

im wondering what are my options from here.

Are you sure the Stutter is GPU related? Is your motherboards Bios updated, XMP set/optimised defaults, etc?

Temps for CPU/GPU all in check?

Xmp optimised. Bios updated.

Temps are all good.

Like i said its not doing it with my 970.

samsung EVO 860

i have a few kingston SSD. whats the latest about them?

just that alot of the kingston ssd' seems to be making stutter in games

chec kfi you are hit by the perofrmance issue in the newest win10 patch

i didnt have the update mentionned , now trying the windows defender settings

I added an exception in windows defender and updated to new drivers. Stutters are still happening but are less frequent.

Quite unhappy with this card.

How would you describe the stutter exactly? Is is a full-on pause, a weird hitch where your FPS plummet, or is there some level of consistency as to when it happens?

Yeah I'd take a look at AB and see if there's anything in the graphs when the stutter occurs.

just uploaded this video

i was able to pin point one of those stutters. at 5:24 when i climb over the hill and the ring is closing.

What is the best monitoring program for the video card? Im using gpu z right now and im seeing spikes in clocks.

I've sen alto of people reporting this after upgrading to 2070.
reinstalling windows fixed It. unsure if there is a smaller fix

warning of shameless plug
I would try my project mercury and the enable "No CCX swtitching" it should help give you more stable FPS in games since you avoid the threades jumping from one CCX to another

i may have found the issues. Not coming from the 2070.
