Picture shows a 2070...
And a 2070 is exactly what you will get too as this is obviously an error.

I added to cart just for the hell of it and it says "Signature required at time of delivery. Please ensure someone will be available to sign for this delivery." What the hell? I have never seen that required on anything else I have bought from them. So I am supposed to take the whole day off from work when its out for delivery?

Three options:

1. you get a good deal in the time frame although most likely less as that is the generic out of stock range for amazon.
2. You get the wrong item possibly negating the deal and amazon returns/compensates.
3. You wait 1-3 months until Amazon auto cancels the item even after you keep responding to the emails saying that you want to keep waiting on the order. Optional you raise a stink and get some sort of small credit.

Most likely you will get a 2080 since the order will state 2080 so they will pull that off the shelves when they get them in for stock.

Most likely you will get nothing in the mail then get the run around from Amazon. And in 3 months when you get around to opening a credit card claim your CC will tell you it's been 1 week too long, sorry

Zoom in my dude.

Amazon has never screwed me on anything. This isn’t a third party reseller, it’s amazon directly. I’m just not sure I want to go from my 1080ti dual fan - EVGA SC Black, back to a reference blower... probably could get ~$500 used for my card so it’s a lateral in price. I love that my fans full stop when my EVGA isn’t in use. Does anyone know if this blower card’s fan spins down?

I doubt it’d be too loud. I had some blower 1080ti and they were quiet enough...i guess the fan spinning down doesn’t matter too much (just seems like the card will last longer with fans that stop when not needed - since that’s the only moving part on a GPU)

No back plate either (understanding that’s nearly entirely cosmetic, but still...)

Yeah, blower cards are cheaper. I met some high school kid on hardwareswap and had a deal to buy a HP 2080 for 515$ in cash and then I backed out last minute, because I thought why not get an EVGA for 600 with warranty?

So 500 for a blower model is not like 100% unheard of, but it is a good deal.

He says he paid $250 for the card....

I canceld my order on Amazon because I can't wait 3 months for a card. card might not even be worth more than 500 by the time we get it!

You see an EVGA new for $600 now? I see $700 on their site. Where’s the $600 deal or is that expired?

I meant that I could get a used EVGA for 600 and then transfer warranity (can you?) which made me reconsider paying 515 for HP.

I dunno, I had to drive really far too, or I would've paid the 515. Seems like a nice deal, but he wasn;t old enough to drive and couldn't meet me halfway

What bugs me about the 2080 is that it only has 8GBs of VRAM when its MSRP is higher than the 1080ti was with 12GBs and even budget $150 cards (RX 5x0 cards) have 8GBs too. It just seems a bit low for most newer games if you play at 4K when I've seen some of them pushing that 8GB threshold in VRAM usage already.

Not a big deal for most games esp. at 1440p or so, it just seems like you're not even getting what you pay for with these RTX cards.

I had 6GB of Vram in 2011, 2080 needs more than 8

VRAM at 8GB will be fine so long as next gen gaming consoles stay at or below that threshold - which current rumors are it’ll be some sort of NAVI.

So should be fine.

Well, for someone to be a test dummy and buy one and either gets a 2080 or a 2070, it will be too late for the rest of us to get in on it if its real.....

If you scroll down and look at the item description and product details it is a RTX 2070. That is what you will get.
I ordered a case a bit back with this same type of error. I ordered the case by the heading listed not the item description and received the wrong case. The case received
was what they had as the item description below.

Some folks on SD got lucky and had other places like walmart to pricematch this price mistake.
