Radiator issue.

So I have a custom loop setup with 2 280 rads. The rad that is getting water from the CPU gets really hot under load while the other rad stays pretty cool. Is this normal? I am positive I got all the air out.

Loop order is:
Pump>Front Intake Rad>1080TI>7820x>Top Exhaust Rad> Pump.

Temp are pretty good at full load. GPU gets to mid 40 and about mid 80s running stress tests. I guess cause the top rad is pulling all the hot air from the inside of the case and it is first after water going through the GPU and CPU.
 
It's all speculation without a bunch of water temp readings throughout the loop but your guess sounds reasonable to me. Typically flow rates are so high that heat is pretty evenly distributed, what pump are you using and are you using the same fans on both rads?
 
Agreed with getting more precise measurements. Really the only way to tell for sure if something is going on.
 
If you can, I would pull fresh air on both radiators with filters over there to create positive air pressure. May lower temps a bit and cause less dust in the case.
 
I don't agree with the "put every radiator as intake" method. While yes, it might help improve core temps, too much intake through radiators can cause peripheral temps to rise as a result. Balanced intake and exhaust with bias towards more intake is the way to go.
 
I speculate its down to a very low flow rate.
Either a blockage or the pump is in trouble.

I had barely a trickle of water a month or so back yet the CPU temps were still ok.
Water can hold a lot of heat!
 
I am making suggestions without knowing his case/setup so if he has enough fans to balance an intake/outtake then he should try it. Especially if it is easy to do since he can monitor everything else.

But like the rest of us, we are making suggestions with a severe lack of information.

It a EK-XRES 140 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite. Running it at full speed makes little difference. I have 2 noctua fans on the top rad and using the stock fractur R6 fans on the front. Using 280 black ice rads.
 
With different fans it's possible the top rad is hotter just because not as much air is being blown over the rad. If the case fans are connected to molex and the noctuas are 3pins to the mobo they may never be ramping up because the mobo thinks your temps great for air cooling.

Push Vs Pull setup could be another factor if they are different on the two rads.

They all are connect to the fractur fan hub to the CPU fan header. In the bios I have a fan curve set up to be 50% unless it is under high load.
