Also comes with code for The Division 2. No idea how good/bad/ugly the motherboard is but you are essentially getting the motherboard for like ~3.

I'm one click away from ordering this. The big question is, do I spend the few extra bucks for the 2700x?

Edited post to reflect that if you are not on Premier there might be actual shipping.

Just clicked the link compared what you wrote etc was thinking "sounds odd numbering"
what YOU listed as the motherboard is in fact the Intel based socket.
number should have been GA-AX370, not GA-ZX370

cheers.

It's really not a lot of money for what you get.. sooner or later you gotta pull the trigger. Cant always wait for the latest greatest

Oops, fixed that.

Dang I just pulled the trigger on the ROG STrix mobo and the ryzen 5 2600x with some corsair vengeance ram....

I contacted NewEgg on this. Service rep said the board will NOT work with the CPU out of the box. You need a BIOS update. I guess AMD can send you an update kit?

This means they are still shipping F1 original BIOS boards, yuck. They jumped from F1 to F20, F20 the minimum needed for this CPU. I find it hard that they would ship this with no warning about needing to use a older CPU to flash the BIOS up first. But yes I think AMD still has those update kits.

Yea, I'm sort of perplexed by this as well. Maybe that's why in the end you only end up paying $3 for the board? Who knows. Looks like I'll stick to my original plan of a 2700x.
