It is a plain old 4G tower. I bet these same parents have WiFi and use BlueTooth... for goodness sake, this is a grieving parent grasping at straws. I feel for them, I would be very upset if my kids came down with cancer... but I would be demanding tests of the air and water in and around the school; What building materials are being used? What is in the water? These are things that are far more likely to cause cancer.I don't see where it states it in the article: Is this the new 5G controversy? Or is this an old-school (4G) cell tower?
As an asside; I use to work in a school district, and the community got up in arms when a new cell tower went up in view of the school. Students, faculty, parents were all sorts of suspicious of the new tower for about a year before they cooled off. But my favorite thing to do was to take them to the other side of the building, and show them the 5 year old cell tower that was literally within 600 feet from the school grounds. The new tower was about a mile and a half away.... *sigh* people.
Still, lets not give an irrational grieving parent a microphone. This is not productive.
