Just dropped it to a flat $3000 opening bid, lots of eyeballs.

Maybe I'm leaving money on the table and someone was going to hit it last minute but I'm in a housecleaning mood and thats as low as I'm willing to go.

Quite an impressive list of auctions. Why are you liquidating? Trying to buy something else or just selling off duplicates?

Just getting rid of some excess duplicate clutter around the shop and liquidate some outstanding debt. Hate owing anything.

In my early collecting days I'd often buy stuff in bulk to fund the collection, see those Obsidian2 boards for sale?

I had a complete case of twenty. Every few years I'd run off an auction of a few pairs. Pickup some higher priced prototypes or rarer commercial pieces. Wait a few years, run off another few auctions. Take the profit and pickup a few more rare pieces.

At one point early on I was contacting all the Quantum3D affiliated partners outside of the US. Datapath in the UK still had brand new Obsidian boards on the shelf! I purchased them all lock, stock and barrel. They were happy to be rid of them. I sold them on Ebay cheaper than they were retailing them to individuals, win-win for everyone all around.
