PEGI Rating Confirms Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remaster

A listing for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered" briefly appeared on the official PEGI website yesterday before quickly being taken down. Fortunately, media outlets like Charlie Intel managed to capture screenshots before PEGI killed the seemingly erroneous listing, which had a release date of "28/02/2019." While technically not an official conformation, a PEGI listing more or less confirms that the remastered CoD campaign is coming soon, though info about it started leaking out in March 2018. Thanks to PCGamesN for the tip.

This is the very first time that a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered has been rated on any board or mentioned on any type of an official site. US ratings board ESRB has not rated the product. Activision has not announced any details on a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. When the leaks did occur in 2018, Activision did not issue any comment or provide any update on if its real or what was happening.
 
call of duty: we ran out of ideas 2.

i'd pay 20 dollars just to play the game again with more people.

chances are it's a full price release and the DLC it had years ago will be not included but available for purchase bringing the entire game up to 250 dollars.

also loot crates.
 
if its more than $20 not interested, campaign was short anyway. would be fun though for nostalgia.
 
I enjoyed CoD MW2, so if this is true and they don't alter it to function as a microtransaction ATM machine, then I'd love to play through it again with updated graphics/game engine.

I've never once played a Call of Duty game in my life. Maybe I will finally take the plunge to see what the fuss is all about.

You should check out the first game, its equally as good expansion, and CoD2.
 
So is it still based on the quake 3 engine?

I still haven't played CoD:MW non-remastered I was given a few years back. Maybe when they get the 2nd MW1 remaster finished ;)

CoD 4 Modern Warfare is my favorite, by far.

...and strictly because of these sequences/missions:
* Death From Above
* All Ghillied Up
 
Is there a way to buy COD4 remaster by itself?

Modern Warfare 1 and 2 were great. But by the time 2 ended, I could see what Activision was trying to do with the franchise. MW3 was the last COD game I bought or played.
