Bethesda may already be readying a new post-apocalyptic title to wash the bad taste of Fallout 76 away: PC, Xbox One, and PS4 listings accompanied by a vintage film countdown timer, which alludes to the franchise, have been listed on Amazon. Fans say it could be a remaster of Fallout 3 and/or New Vegas.

It’s the theory that makes the most sense, especially when you consider the number of re-releases we’ve seen for Skyrim in the past several years. Fallout 3 is a few years older than Bethesda’s last big single-player Elder Scrolls game, and it could probably do with a fresh coat of paint – that is, if you haven’t already tried modding it yourself.

If it is a remaster of Fallout: New Vegas I sincerely hope they implement a solution of being unable to continue playing after game's end. Loved Fallout New Vegas but that part of the game was a big turn-off and current mods, while OK, only do minimal to address the issue and is the main reason why I only have a couple thousand hours in FO:NV and upwards of 15,000 hours in Fallout 3.

I'd really love to see Fallout 3 recreated using the Fallout 4 game engine. I'd be a very Happy Goober if that happens. :D

I never played Fallout 3 - but did finish New Vegas. It was awesome. I'd be a happy person with a Fallout 3 remaster.

I bet it'll be both - they're feeling the heat from the community over 76's state so will want to make a solid goodwill statement.

Seeing how well Bethesda has been marketing 76, I'm going to say a timed exclusive lootbox for some crappy skin.

Remaster please. Time to break out potato polish.

Morrowind and oblivion could both use a remaster. Balancing dozens of overhaul mods is not fun and usually unstable.

Having totally lost confidence in bioware and bethesda the most I could hope for is a technical remaster of previous strong entries. Imagine if you had to watch original star wars on VHS or you could only watch the new """movies.""""

Can someone link it, that website link don't work.

Edit: never mind it has been taken down from amazon.

At $60, if it turns out to be nothing more than a refresh of Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas I'm gonna be, uh, buying it, because that'll give me an excuse to play those titles again. I've already finished three runs of Fallout 4, including two where I made complex settlements at each of the settlement sites.

Remasters for PC users are a slap in the face. As a Fallout 3 GOY owner I need a patch to run the stupid thing on Windows 10. Patch the game already cause the "remaster" is just going to be using Fallout 76 engine with 4k textures.

I was watching a news video about Amazon's Boeing 767 that crashed in Texas this morning. I don't care about the goods that Amazon lost, but there were three crew people on board that died, and that's a tragedy. And in the middle of the video they had images of the wreckage, along with a few seconds of a plastic Vault Boy head floating in the water. And I thought, "I should install Fallout 3..." Talk about Pavlov's dog.

If you plan to install mods then apply the 4GB patch to the game. You'll thank me.

Played those titles already. Think I'll pony up to repurchase the games I already have because it's a remake?

Oh hey, you liked this game. Here do it again and pay us. You haven't played it with these textures......

Are they adding raytracing?

So much for moving forward when you can capitalize on a rehash

I never played any of the Fallout games until the beginning of this month, when I started up with Fallout 4. I've averaged just over an hour a day since then, which for me, is a LOT. Really like it, and would be VERY interested in a FO3 or NV remaster, as from what I've read, they're great games that really only need the graphics upgraded.
