BioWare: "We're Definitely Not Done with Mass Effect"

To people who think ME:A just needed "a few more weeks...

They wasted the majority of their budget and over three years of a five year development time on things that didn't even make it functionally into the end product. What you got was an 18month project.
You didn't get a DLC or a "finished game" because they ran out of time. You got no DLC and no finished game because the teams leaders were inept. Player reviews had VERY LITTLE to do with mass effects endpoint cancellation.

If you didn't finish ME:A because the story sucked then the game failed at everything Mass Effect should be. It is the story and characters that made ME games tick (despite clunky gameplay at the times) and ME:A failed to deliver on both fronts. The facial animation whoopsie was embarrassing but not the reason why people hated the game, it was just an easy target to shoot to air out their dissatisfaction with the game.

Personally I played it through once but I had to force myself to do it, the last half was a pain. Except the final battle, that was pretty cool.

The storytelling itself was ok... There was just too much of it... Too many threads/too much filler.
