The Official MSI Radeon VII 16G Product Page Is Now Live

Waiting to see actual benchmarks, but if this was about $200 cheaper I'd be all in. Not gonna pay $700 for a GPU, AMD or not.
 
Dont get me wrong i accept people spend their time like that, personally if there was a game i liked i would rather spend my time playing it than watching others play, not least as i understand it these streamers are not even especially good at those games.
But there are a lot in today's world i do not understand and on so many levels of life.
I am also amazed of my own stupidity, as i daily "loose" my breath moving a little i am amazed how stupid i was smoking this and that for so many years. and i am amazed i am not more active in finding /creating a alternative to the established political parties here that clearly are fracked up and untrustworthy.
And yes many sports are ruined for me, i never liked the popular soccer here, but that's from way back before it became commercialized, i just think its a silly sports like i find most team based sports. and motorsports which i like, well not F1 that was ruined for me a long time ago.
Regarding TV well that just blow me away, though i just have 36 channels i can only find 10 hours of TV a month worth watching, but my TV are on much more than that, so i am planning on getting out of the cable i am forced to have, and put the TV in its box or put it on the recycling yard.
First time Big Brother aired here after seeing it one time i said " people watching sheet like that are idiots" so one of the guys did not talk to me for a while as he loved the stuff, and he is allowed to i just find it mind-numbing and stupid.

PS. my current 10 year old TV are my first ever TV ( i am 52 YO ) and it might very well be my last TV too unless i get some streaming services worth watching,,,, and no Netflix ASO have close to nothing i am interested in.

I get withdrawal symptoms if my PC / internet have not worked for 24 hours, and i do not count internet on phone / tablet which i almost never use as i feel like a idiot if i am looking at those little screens, so i can not get my fix on those devises.
So me feeling like that about myself looking at a mobile devise, guess what i feel about pretty much any other human in the world then :)

Every week I see [H] user or two say the V64 is as fast as a 1070 lmao (it's 1080 and LC is between 1080 and Ti). With that sort of fud floating around it's not unexpected that many here will expect this to be 'competiton' for that rapidly shrinking 1% of the market. This now means they compete in 99% of the market space. I'm happy with that and when or if they can go head to head with halo $1200 gpus I'll be happier again.

This part of ym problem...I want a VII just to play with it, but I have heard nothing about full cover block support yet, and air cooling is a nonstarter since I push these things to their limit 24/7. The other problem is that I already have what I suspect is 90% of the stock VII performance with my plat clocking cards. I can feed my 1800Mhz card 588.8GB/s of memory bandwidth, so the performance from that extra ~412GB/s better be stunning for someone like me.

I have a nasty feeling that with a custom power limit and some tweaking that VII would hit 2K+ on the core under water, which would bring it very close to 2080TI performance since the card would not be bandwidth limited...I guess we will see if GN does one of their crazy AIO mods with a custom power limit to see how far it will go. I wish Kyle would do those type of things again...That was what [H]ard used to be for. They have a ton of quality content but the revenue tech Jesus gets doing streams like that would be nice in Kyle's pockets instead.

That is dumb too but it didn't helped if initial reviews of the Vega 64 did show in some cases, the average fps is within 1070 instead of 1080. To me, I can chalk it up as a driver issue or maybe a game issues that needs patching; but it also shows me, how much of a shit show was going on at AMD/RTG with this half ass release of Vega 64.

This has been going on forever. PC game marketing has always been cringe worthy. The general public mostly sees the PC gamers as the super nerds among gamers. This is why the PCMR jokes have been going on for so long.

This may not be the ground truth, but marketing has made is so.
 
Need to get one of these, but mine has to say LICHTNING on there. Why doesn't MSI do lightning branded hardware anymore?

They do make lightning cards. You never know they may make one for these when they AIB cards come out. That's only if they come out.

I wouldn’t be surprised if WC companies haven’t even been given cards yet. If there really is low supply on launch then companies like EK might have to wait to get cards to check out.
