MSI GE40 2OL Power Light Problem

I just recently received a laptop that I purchased from a [H] member and it's power light changes from blue to orange/red anytime I click on anything.Turns fron blue to orange/red when booting also.Is this normal?

I was the seller of the laptop. I never paid much attention to the activity of the LEDs but the MSI manual says the orange light is an indicator that the discreet GPU is active. Might depend on the energy saver settings, but I think windows switching on the discreet GPU normal? Anyway - subbed for a second opinion.

Does it work but the light blinks or is it that it doesn't work and the light blinks?

From the sound of the post - it seems like there's something wrong but the only symptom you state is that the LED blinks different colors.
