GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 8GB $299.00 AMIR

Makes sense why these just dropped, since the RTX 2060 is closer in specs to a 1070 TI, has a few extra bells and whistles, and is close to that price point. I think if this dropped to $280 without a MIR it would be a hot deal.
 
Might be worth spending the extra $50 for a 2060, slightly better performance, much better NVENC capabilities, RAY TRACING CAPABILITIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
They need to come out with a $100-150 RTX Processing add-in card so if you have a 1080ti you can get the ray tracing features.

That + the new NVENC encoder chip would make a really good product. A lot of streamers I talk to are eyeing the RTX cards just for the NVENC quality capabilities.
 
Agree with others. It's not bad but need drop more. I grabbed a 1070ti used for 275$ so I am set for a while.

NV has no incentive to create a cheap add-in card that would cannibalize GPU sales.

I have a feeling the 2060 is going to become thee streamer card.
 
I guess people have really bought in to Ray tracing hype. Is it too harsh to say that it’s not worth it until next gen unless you like gaming at unplayable FPS?

Even asking for add in cards for 1080ti? Damn! Lol.

No kidding the RT hype has to die. Its especially bad when the 2080ti doesnt have hdmi 2.1. lol, $1200+ card and no hdmi 2.1. Nvidia should have just waited 6 more months. its not like there is any urgency. Just checked are the 2080ti isnt sold out, yea no kidding.

Not sure what’s going on with them. I checked on Newegg and Amazon barely any 2080ti available and they were like 1400+. Not sure if fixing the space invaders issue. They barely seem to be available.
